    What vitamins do you take?

I am taking the bariatric - Celebrate Multi-Vitamin with Iron ($22 - 60ct). 2 chewable tablets daily. They come in orange or berry flavor. Not too bad. I also just started taking liquid calcium citrate blueberry flavor. I got this from Vitamin shoppe and it's $13 for 15 day supply. I have to drink 25 ml daily to get in my 1000mg of calcium a day. I'm looking for a cheaper alternative, but for right now I am satisfied with the multi-vitamin. Any suggestions for the calcium citrate, I'm all ears? I'm 3 weeks post-op. At my doctor apt yesterday, they don't recommend the calcium chewables until 6 months post op. Let me know what your doctor's recommend.

    March 2015 Sleevers

Hi There. Had my surgery Mar 10, 2015, so that makes me a little over 3 weeks post op. I'm feeling great, down 20 pounds after sleeve. I was super excited and amazed. I notice small things, like my bra fits a smidgeon looser on the sides. I am struggling getting in all of my liquids. I do manage to walk 40 mins a day, and feel amazing. I like you struggled day 1 and day 2, but by day 3 was walking for 20 mins on the hospital floor. It will get easier. My biggest problem was attempting to sleep on my back and other side. Best of luck to you.
  3. I had surgery on Mar 10, 2015. Here I am 3 weeks post op, and just now feel 85% comfortable sleeping on my stomach completely. My scars are healing beautifully, but I still am very conscious that I don't lay on my stomach all night. It doesn't hurt or throb, but it's not 100% comfortable for me. I will probably give myself another full week or so. But I am definitely laying on my stomach for at least 2 hours and then I switch positions.

    Average Post Op Diet?

I am 3 weeks post op. I've been out atleast 10 times. I always go to a place where they have soups, (Jason's Deli, Panera Bread, Chinese Restaurants, etc...) I normally get chicken noodle or a broth... wonton soup, egg drop soup, etc. I normally ask for more broth than noodles or veggies, and find myself struggling to eat 1/3 of the soup. I sometimes leave it, or take it home, but I never finish it. And I have yet to drink the water. I'm still new at this, but hopefully it will get easier. I agree with the post - wait staff have looked at me funny when I ask for water but don't touch it. I feel bad and find myself explaining like hey, I had surgery and need to take it easy. Then I get a somewhat sympathetic look, like ohhh, okay I get it. But, I'm hoping soon that I will just be comfortable not giving an explanation at all. Hope this helps, best of luck to you.
