Hi all, thanks for all the advice and responses. I have to go to the surgeon tomorrow to get a block- lido&marcaine . I figured out that the pain I have is nerve related (I am a critical care RN). I knew that having this kind of severe pain wasn't normal, I just couldn't differentiate the pain. Hopefully that works. They told me an internal suture was probably up against a nerve
Hi all, I was wondering is anyone else has experienced increasing pain instead of decreasing pain after the surgery. My pain has gotten worse on the left side and now it radiates to my back. The burning sharpness of it makes it almost impossible to get up without screaming. Is this normal?
So I had my surgery on 03/19/15. Since, I have had this feeling that I did something stupid. I keep asking myself why I would make myself miserable and have my anatomy changed and cause myself pain. I psychologically want food, but physically can't handle it. I am on the liquid diet but my dumb ass tried to see if could could eat solid food. I took a bite of a Cinnamon pastry. Holy hell did I ever feel like puking. Thank god I didn't because the thought of putting pressure on my abdomen is unfathomable to me right now. Shouldn't I be happy I did this??
