  1. Whoa! I had no idea you could go down a nail size lol
  2. I asked one of my Facebook groups and I'm so surprised on how many people lost a few shoe sizes! lol
  3. Hi all! Random question. I'm am getting sleeved in June. I have super wide feet. Like size 10. But the length of my feet fit a size 8/9. Has anyone's feet gotten slimmer after losing weight?! I'm hoping it happens to me. I'm always tripping over my own feet bc my shoes are too long lol
  4. Thank you all! I've decided to go with Dr Illan at BariatricPal MX!
  5. Hi y'all! I'm new here well, I joined a few years ago and never interacted, and haven't gotten surgery yet. A little about me. I have PCOS and chronic migraine syndrome. My BMI is about 55. With that being said, I'm looking into surgery and have found an amazing surgeon. I'm shopping around for insurance. I found a plan, and the surgeon is covered, but the plan says bariatric services are not covered (I'll post a screen shot of them) Any idea of why that could be? Would I need to go see the surgeon and have him talk to my insurance and they would need to approve me? I'm so confused lol
  6. Hey yall! I'm Dawn Marie, 22, and live in Virginia. I've been considering WLS for a year or so. I've not gone to a consultation yet, I'm still trying to find a surgeon that I think is best for me. Insurance question... I've read in multiple places that the state of Virginia requires insurance companies to cover WLS. Although I live in Virginia, my insurance is Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina. Would I be covered since I live in Virginia, or no since my insurance isn't in the state of VA? Thank you!
