  1. I've been adding flavorless protein powder to things so I don't need to rely on the shakes as much.
  2. I'm feeling a lot better now. I found the first week after surgery difficult, but each day gets easier. Thanks for checking in.
  3. I cooked some carrots, celery, and onions in chicken broth, then puréed it. It looks gross but tastes just like chicken soup. I didn't even think of eating hummus! I'll have to try that.

  10. I am really tired of the shakes too. Sometimes the thought of drinking another one makes me sick. Lol. I keep trying to remind myself they are not for always.

  12. Hello. I had my surgery on 3/16/15. I feel like I'm going through this alone, and no one else understands what it's like. I'm looking for any support. I know it's only been about a week, but feeling down and frustrated. I just keep reminding myself it will get better.
