If you're having trouble with your shoulder it's definitely gas. It's such an annoyance! I've been lucky enough not to get shoulder pain. My surgery was on 11/10. And every since then my shoulder has been in pain! It never goes away.... ???????? nothing is helping me. ???????? Everything except of that is great! I'm able to drink 26-30 ounces a day. Which is good I guess, I have been able to do light workouts, and I haven't been in pain minus the shoulder issue. I just want the pain to go away! ☹️☹️ Have you tried a heating pad? Yes! I tried that yesterday. And it seemed to help for the most part. I also tried the chewable gasx but that didnt help me.

I had mine on 11/10! My only issue is that my left shoulder is killing me ????

I agree!!!! My battery is dead in my scale, and it's killing me???????????????? I'm gonna get that darn battery today! And see what the results are. I did notice since yesterday was my first day wearing jeans since the surgery, that I didn't have to tuck and roll, struggle, and there wasn't a need for a belt for my pants to stay up! But I opted to put the belt on because it felt weird! ????????????????

I picked up some yogurt ice pops from target. I had some yogurt yesterday. I haven't touched not one ounce of chicken broth ???????????????? cranberry juice is all that I have been drinking besides Water. Lollipops have been delicious because I was sick of ice pops and cold stuff makes me get chest pains.... Weird. I have apple sauce too. My doctor said anything that is milk based I can eat. He also said that I could eat some oatmeal as long as I use milk to mix it up. Hopefully that will help! ????????

So my surgery was November 10. I remember nothing except for the doctor asking me if I was ready and I agreed. And then I woke up! Sore as hell. But I was able to tolerate the pain. For me the pain is like giving birth to a baby! My hospital didn't provide a belly band they offered a pillow. However I went to Walmart and bought one! The darn thing was $10 and it's a life saver!!!! I have worn it everyday since I left the hospital ???? now don't get me wrong it was painful the night of the surgery I had a button that I could push ever 10 minutes for a narco but it made me so tired! So I opted not to use it at all. I am not able to drink the 15ml of liquid hydrocodone I feel like it keeps getting stuck in my throat! So far since being home I haven't had a bowel movement but my doctor said that I could eat a banana! I only ate one bite and handed it over. I'm not hungry! And I keep feeling like when I drink something I feel it sitting right there in my throat and it's barely making its way to my stomach! Now that the surgery is over I'm back on this liquid diet ???? I'm over the chicken broth, apple juice makes me sick, sugar free Jello taste horrible! But I have a new love for cranberry juice! That's all I have been able to manage since Tuesday and a bite of ice cream. I have stayed away from the scale although I am eager to know what it will say in two weeks!

So I'm currently on day 3 of my liquid diet.... I have no interest for the Protein shakes, the ones that I have are disgusting! Any suggestion? I do love the Soup, and the sugar free Jello, and the sugar free Water. But I need protein..... November 10, isn't coming fast enough for me :-( All suggestions are welcomed.

My surgery date is November 10! I am super excited!!!! It's not coming fast enough ????☺️ I was nervous at first when I started my liquid diet. But being on it I have noticed that I'm not hungry at all. So I'm guessing that I was a mental thing! I just pray that the 10 gets here soon because the wait is driving me crazy ????????

@@Mom26 close is an understatement! Gosh, it needs to be here like NOW! However, i dont like chocolate.... I perfer strawberry, lol! I is so much better. But I am going to go to the store to find that brand because I have to do something.

@@HopeandAgony it isnt as bad as I thought it would be. I thought that I would be hungry.... but I'm not. But I cannot drink that Protein shake. Lol. Im going to just try the powder with some milk.... and see how that goes.

@@barryswife hopefully it will come quicker than what I'm thinking. Maybe I'm over thinking it. But I can not drink a Protein shake to save my life ;-( ugh.....

@@all4him I have when people say that! ???????? since my insurance is paying my doctor told them that I was morbidly obese! And that my BMI was high! ????☺️

@@barryswife I was given all of that info on Friday! ☺️???? it was a lot! But my last appoint for preop is this Friday! And that's only to talk through the procedure!!!! I'm super excited. I feel like the wait is over finally ☺️☺️

@@mokt I had my scope in July. My doctor found a ulcer but inward told that they would just remove it during surgery. I'm going to make an appointment with my nutritionist asap! I was told that for my liquid diet I could have soup, sugar free jello, sugar free drinks, no sodas, and protein shakes.

Mine is fully funded by my insurance! ????????????????. I wanted to keep it private but I also wanted the support! Many of my coworkers have had the surgery! So I needed the inside scoop from them.

He knows that its something that I really want to do! ????My mother hasn't been as supportive as in would like so as I approach my date of surgery I haven't been keeping her in the loop ???? my boyfriend knows and I don't plan in telling anyone. I totally agree with the no negative vibes! ???????????????? All of my coworkers no and they have been encouraging me along the way so that helps a lot too! My surgery local. Which is good! I don't wanna travel anywhere! ???????? @@queencity we should definitely keep in touch! All support is welcomed ???? positive vibes only ????
