June 16 is just around the corner.

Less than 10 days for me woot woot

The surgeon didn't say much. But the surgeon also expected some weight loss. Same thing with my surgeon. They wanna see that your trying to lose weight. So far I have lost 7 lbs. my goal is to lose 15lbs by surgery date. 14 days and counting until my surgery date. Eeekk!

My husband only lost like 6 lbs since the start of the journey and his surgeon did his surgery on May 20th.

I'm not required to do a pre-op but I will at least do a 3 day liquid diet prior to my surgery on the 16th.I'm 5ft. And 203 lbs.

June 16th for me. I'm so ready to get this done and over with. Good luck all.

I know what you mean Barb. Those voices are constantly talking to me. Wish they would go away. I think I'm more nervous cuz of the pain after surgery. Another one too is will I ever be able to eat the foods I love again!

I'm feeling the same way. When I first started the journey I was like this is gonna take forever. Now I second guess myself and ask if this is really what I wanna do. I know it's nerves.

Finally received my date yesterday. June 16th is when I'll be on the losers bench.

I only told 1 person at work. I think I'm gonna take a leave of absence. Not sure what kind of paperwork I'll need for this tho. I don't want to tell anyone.

They wouldn't give you a date the day you went to see your surgeon? Good luck to you as well and hope you get your date soon.

Just got my insurance approval. I see my surgeon one more time on Tuesday. I should get my June date then. The sooner the better.

Insurance Approved! I have my last surgeons appointment in Tuesday and I should have my June date then. Can't wait to be on the losers bench.

So I hear a lot about women most of the time get their menstrual cycle the day of surgery. My question is am I able to use a tampon during surgery?

First visit is the Pulmonary Fulton Test. All you do is sit inside a booth and do all different kinds of breathing and blowing. Simple test takes about 45 to 60 minutes.

Where I go they do not require the 2 weeks. Just the two days before surgery. They require the you lose some weight through the whole process which I have been doing little by little.

Nothing to worry about. My psychologist asked about my eating habits, alcohol use, smoking use, have I ever been bullied in school, when did I first notice that i was getting heavy, if there was any alcohol abuse at home or if you had any kind of abuse at home as a kid, what kind of exercises I was thinking about doing. She asked me about my past weight losses. Etc... Just don't seem like your suicidal then they may delay your surgery

I have my pulmonary test this Wednesday. Anyone have that done yet? What can I expect?

Wow most you you've have gotten thier WLS date. I wont get my date until after I'm done with workshop. My office sends in their paperwork to the insurance the second day of my workshop. Hoping for an early June Date.

It's all about the $$$$ I even had homework to do. As if I didn't have enough to do with school homework and work on top of homework.

I use the app on my iPhone but yesterday I used my laptop. Where would I fund the insurance approval?
