June Sleevers!
I am 13 days out and I am on soft food, puréed. I can drink just fine but eating eggs and cheese just makes my stomach hurt. Everything else seems to be ok.

June Sleevers!
Went for my two week check today. I have lost 10 lbs since surgery. My wounds are healing nicely so I can take a bath. Yea! I have moved on to stage 3 and can have puréed food. I am a vegetarian so my protein choices are limited. Any suggestions?

I am feeling a little weak but fine. I have lost 45 lbs starting with pre-op.- Anyone from the Southbay or Bay Area
Hi I am in the East Bay. I had my sleeve done June 17.- I got my insurance approval today!
I had my sleeve surgery Wednesday June 17. It went well.- Sleeve surgery update - completed today, June 17
My surgery was at 8:30 am June 17, 2015. It all went smoothly. Even afterwards, I have been walking a lot. Sleeping has been difficult.- Today's the day!
My surgery was yesterday. It went well. I am walking the corridors to help get rid of the gas.- Kaiser NorCal - Sacramento
It takes about a month depending on your pre-surgery weight loss.- Kaiser NorCal - Sacramento
I go to kaiser Richmond. I have gone through the process and have received my surgery date of June 17. I had no problem with the diet and walking but actually working out has been difficult.- June Sleevers!

I am looking at June too. Still going through pre-surgery diet.- Normal?
The videos and advice has helped a lot. I have been trying to decide which surgery to have bypass or sleeve. I have done my research but nothing has told me how the patients feel about their surgery. I have already started the process, but this is the most important decision I have yet to make. I am 5'4" and my highest weight was 241 lbs, this was in January 2015. I have been on the pre-op diet since February 2 and now weigh 220 lbs. I lose weight till I hit a plateau and then I gain it all back and more. This is why I have decided to have surgery. I need to change my life or I will lose it. ; (- Celebrating with fitbit
i love my Fitbit flex. It does keep you motivated and tracks everything. Well only exercises associated with steps. I am in the pre-op stage. My surgery is not till June. I wanted to try the pre-op diet for a while and use a time where I wouldn't miss much work.- So frustrated! Not covered 100%
I freaked when I went to orientation and the woman next to talked about how much she had to pay. Same insurance company but different plans. I called and found it is covered on my plan, no deductible. I started February 2 but asked for surgery in June. I hope they can accommodate this.- Death: about 1 in every 200 patients dies as the result of bariatric surgery.
Statistics are skewed. You look at at less than a 1% chance of mortality or greater than a 99% survival rate. Sounds like a disinfectant commercial. ✌️ - Sleeve surgery update - completed today, June 17
