  1. So I've been doing well prior to this starvation I've been experiencing. I was sleeved on 2/3 and I just can't seem to stay ahead of my hunger. Any suggestions? !?

  5. I think that's great! Don't put so much pressure on yourself, as your body had had a lot of adjusting to do in that amount of time Keep up the good work!
  6. Me too! I was sleeved on 2/3. I've noticed SO many sensitivity issues since the surgery. Thanks for your response:)
  7. I went home with a drain and it came out about 7 days after my surgery. It made me really sad, as my surgeon originally told me that most Sleeves do not get drains, so I immediately thought something didn't go right. My favorite nurse I had explained that a drain actually helps aid in the healing process and forces that excess fluid out, plus it was nice to be able to monitor what was going on in there by the color of the fluid coming out.
  8. Thank you for your post! You pretty much validated what I was thinking! I just love this forum! I haven't tried a shake before bed, maybe I will try that tonight! Thanks again!!
  9. Congrats! What a positive post! Us newbies need this!
  10. I'm 30 days post op from the sleeve. Please tell me I am not the only one who has a wierd smell to them?!? I obviously shower daily and recently I've been showering in the AM before work and then again as soon as I get home, because I feel stinky! My urine is super super strong, and I'm drinking water all day long, maybe a couple sips of watered down juice or a GC Gatorade, but nonetheless being aware of constant sips to keep my hydration up. Also, I feel like I've got pregnancy nose ... everything is very strong, especially cigarette smoke (I've never been a smoker), but it really makes me naseaus now just to smell one of my employees who is coming back from a smoke break. Not complaining, don't regret my decision at all, just needing some validation that I'm not crazy! Cheers!
  11. Tomorrow March 3rd I am 30 days post op from Gastric Sleeve. I am starting to shake often, however it seems to be more noticeable at night, specifically at bedtime (maybe because I'm not busy, and actually have time to notice it). Anyone else experience this, if so suggestions please
  12. I'm with ya ... sleeved on 2/3 and feeling very down!
  13. My email address is gabby_megs@yahoo.com ... I would love to join the secret FB group ... I had my surgery on 2/3! It's been a journey so far, but the scale is going down and I am getting adjusted to my new lifestyle!
