  1. I'm 9 months post op and I can't seem to make the scale budge. I workout like a crazy lady and I think I eat right. At least it's worked for the 86 pounds I've lost thus far. Any ideas that you have or experience you could share. Thanks. Brandi
  2. Now that I'm done bragging..... Here's my question. Can you give me a site where I can find recipes especially for gastric bypass. I've been cheating way to much and don't want to get into bad habits. Thanks in advance.
  3. Daise68, thanks for the info. I DO have hypothyroidism. I will have my levels checked out.
  4. Help! I'm 8 weeks post op and my RLS is worse than ever! Why and does anyone have any ideas what to do? Big thanks in advance.
  5. Yes, yes, yes! I can't tell you how much I thought the very same thing. I'm almost two months post op and feeling just fine. You should start feeling more "normal" about the second week. I'm going to tell you what my friends told me. "Hang in there"! :-)
  6. I could try that. I even tried drinking some coffee (caffeine) to get things going. I'm not supposed to have it for a couple more weeks. But I'm desperate .
  7. This is such a TMI topic I had to try a cute subject line. Why oh why is constipation part of the plan for gastric bypass? Is it because we can't eat veggies until two months post-op? What happened in surgery that made it this way? I'm really ready for this phase to be over!!!
  8. I to hate crushing one of my pills. I was told anything as small as a Tic Tac I could swallow whole. One I have to open up and take with apple sauce. Yuck!! I chase it with a little SF chocolate pudding. Next Tuesday I get to take them all whole againe. Yipeee!
  9. Hello friends. I'm entering week 4 tomorrow. I can have blended fruits and soft veggies and..... Chicken and turkey! Any good recipe ides for this phase? I'd like to eat something with some flavor! Thanks bunches!
  10. Thanks friends for all the good advise!
  11. Hi all, I'm at week 3. I'm wondering what will happen if I'm not able to get all 60 grams of protein in daily. I've tried drinking the protein supplements, they make me gag. So I'm dependent on getting the protein solely by food. What role does protein play in our weight Loss? Sorry for such a long question.
