  5. Hmm just noticed these are on my list... I need to call my NUT to get educated I see lol
  6. Ty for the quick reply. I looked all of those you mentioned up... But they seem to be meal replacements.. I dont know much about meal replacements but I plan on eating my meals and drinking protein drinks in between.. I'm guessing those will be way to fattening combining with my regular meals..
  7. I need to get 75-90 grams of Protein a day. I really need to start getting into buying the big powder drinks. Anyone that's post op have any suggestions? Now I've been drinking muscle milk and milk and 3 oz of protein a day.. That's not close to what's needed and MM is expensive and only 20g.. Please list powders you've tried and/or ways to hit the daily requirements.. By the way I'm 6 days post op..
  8. I was sleeved on the 11th and yes woke up with pain on my left side . keep getting hard quick pains in stomach then they go away for awhile.. I'm sure its gas.. I think I remember hearing I can take GasX to help with this?... Anyways glad to hear I'm not alone and this just appears to be normal part of the process.. Happy Healing All
  9. Very very small world.. My surgery is this coming Wednesday on the 11th!! As far as nicotine every patient gets tested day of surgery .. My Dr Inman wanted to make damn sure I was aware of that lol.. No worries I vape using 0 nicotine in my juice.. I just got done with my dietician class and my head is spinning from all my meds I gotta take. Plus all the Vitamins and trying to drink a 100oz each day.. All of that with the stomach the size of a golf ball lol.. But with God and friends and family in my corner I can't fail!! One thing makes me upset about Dr Inman was her saying in orientation that all the loose skin from weight loss is mainly a myth!! My weight lose group about fell out of their chairs when I told them all... She also said it to my wife who's about 5 weeks out from her operation.. And yes she was in a different orientation class as myself.. Anyways good luck fatties and here's to us all ????
  10. I'm so lucky!! I'm allowed a reg breakfast day before...then clear liquids for rest of day... So I can pig out till afternoon before surgery!!!!
  11. Start vaping and then keep lowering your nicotine levels down.. I vape now but am 100% nicotine free!! Hope this helps and good luck ????
