  2. Thank you! That makes me feel better. I can walk more, especially on weekends.

  4. I had my 6 month post surgery check up recently. The nurse warned me that my weight loss would slow dramatically at this point. I've lost 104 pounds so far and would love to lose 15 more. I've been stuck for 3 weeks at the same weight. I know I'm probably being greedy but I'd really like to lose this last 15 pounds. Any suggestions? Anyone else have their weight loss virtually stop? I record everything I eat, I have between 700 and 800 calories a day and work out for an hour a day (in two 1/2 hour segments). Before surgery it was so hard for me to lose anything. My weight never seemed to budge. I'm wondering if my body is going back to it's old ways?
  5. So does mine. I have to be on it twice a day for 6 months. It was expensive the first month. Since then we've met our insurance deductible so I'm hoping that it's a better price for the next 5 months.

  7. Oh my gosh, I've been feeling the same way as you DMKAZ. I had my surgery on 2/9 and I've never lost weight easily. I guess I expected to have it drop off and it's not. I've lost just under 15 pounds so far. I'm going to read that article too. I was feeling frustrated but I shouldn't be I guess. Everyone loses at their own pace and I'll just keep doing what the doctor says. Thank you everyone!

  12. 5.5 and 1/2. My surgeon didn't set a goal but I go back on Thursday and I'm going to ask. Just had surgery on 2/9. My personal goal is 170.
  13. Hi all. My stepdaughter just told me about this site. I had my surgery on Monday, Feb. 9. No real problems so far, some nauseous feelings, especially today. I'm tolerating the protein shakes well but I do miss chewing. Lol
