  1. I still think and was told by My Dr that barfing with the sleeve excepting having the flu is really bad and needs to be avoided
  2. Well it beats being asked when your baby is due. .when you are not pregnant
  3. @missfranmurray @ladivaluz806 fran so proud of you. I am glad I only had to wait 2 months for my surgery coming july 14 as i have already gained 20 lbs after lap band loosened and 20 pounds after removed in May. I can't believe how fast weight has returned. But glad to hear most lose quickly during pre surgery diet and sleeve surgery. ladivaluz806 how long ago was your sleeve?
  4. I never thought about having to stay the night. I am going to ask tomorrow.
  5. I think it is the nutritionist
  6. Throwing up not good with sleeve
  7. Just plan on being a big food waster from now on!
  8. Scares me that this can happen. Maybe if you bring your own small plate and always put just what is the proper portion on it and that is it. Wasting food was one of the hardest things I have learned when I had my lapband. But in the end would you rather waste it or have a bigger waist? Just throw it out, give it to the dog, portion it and fridge for future meal. Do something with your time right after you eat so you are away from the table and not focusing on food. Even in a restaurant get up and leave if you are done as sitting there with family and friends will allow you to snack and focus on the food. We are doing this because we need to and they will understand. One girl I like to look at her posts on youtube says she eats before she goes to dinner at restaurant or friends houses and then just says oh I already ate and does not eat at all at restaurant or party. Also she said she wears her tight walmart panties that have tummy control fabric, like tight underwear, so that she feels full faster when with family or friends in situations with food. Don't worry about what already happened, just get back on track for now on.
  9. Awesome. I start the 2 week diet on July 1st and I have a pre surgery class on July 8th
  10. food funeral...aka reason to eat everything and anything i want.
  11. Well if I could do this on my own i wouldn't need the surgeries. I have a problem that I can't correct on my own
  12. I've been do food Funeral every chance I get. I live on an island with no fast food so every time I go to the mainland I shamefully hit several fast food places trying to get on all my favorites. ..but so upset none of my skinny clothes fit. Had to buy 2 pairs of fat pants to have clothes for work. Can't wait for July 14.
  13. Trying to not gain 100 lbs..not even kidding. This time between sucks
  14. I do like reading the gastric support page questions on fb but not posting right now on mine until after surgery
  15. I'm trying to do pre op diet a couple of days a week. I have not done one perfect day yet but in my mind I know I don't have to. I'm my own worst enemy. I do feel better on those days though. BTW my surgery is not till July 14 and actual pre op starts I think July 1
  16. Yeah I dont understand why they think they have a right to try to talk us out of it. It is a personal decision and hard to make to begin with. I think envy is usually a reason.
  17. So lucky when you dont have the 2 week pre surgery diet. I only stick to it cause I really want the surgery. Excited to see how we all do. I think if we really stick to the diet after surgery we will get used to it. Also less hunger. WE can help each other too...
  18. Good luck KellarsMom. I am sure you will do great! Looking forward to hearing how you do!
  19. So ready. Counting down the days!!
  20. Love the Premier Protein shakes with 30 g of protein.
  21. Seriously have noticed negativity when I had the band and lost a lot of weight. I felt so good but it was easy for outsiders to make me feel small. Work person was going to suspend me because she thought I had bulimia and I had to get Dr notes so I could come back to work. Didn't tell many people at work that I am getting the sleeve because that same person is against bariatric surgery as her sis had some issues with her surgery, not sure what type. It made me camera shy now, when I was so happy to have the band and be a normal size and feel good. I have only told a few people in my life about the surgery and don't have the same free feeling as when I had the band done. I had to tell her I needed time to get my band damage fixed rather than a new bariatric procedure. I am sure she will think I am bulimic again when I start losing after surgery. Just not her choice or her business but she has managed to mess with my head due to her position at work. I had band removed because it slipped. It is pretty sad what people can do to us instead of being supportive.
  22. Yeah the hunger is difficult and constant with the band out. Just doesn't get any easier. Can't wait for that sleeve. Working out has never been my thing and I have every excuse from no gym on the island where I live to knee pain to no time to tired after long day of work. I do have to go up and down 3 flights of stairs several times during the day so at least that is something.
