  1. Nice first step, good for you. I am with Kaiser as well and I finished the options classes about a month ago, I really learned a lot. My surgery is 7/27/15. You will be able to choose what surgery you want when you get to the surgeons office. He may recommend something but you will have the choice. I am having the sleeve done. Really pay attention in the classes they are important.
  2. Are you not allowed to eat vegetables either? I am going through Kaiser and we can have as many non-starch veggies as we want, one string cheese, and one hard boiled egg.
  3. Hi Everyone, I am feeling your pain I am on day 6. The first 3 days were really hard for me, especially the caffiene withdrawal. The fourth and fifth day were much better, except someone in my office brought donuts!!!!! But I passed on them and I felt good about that. Today I must admit that I am "head hungry" so I have been keeping myslef busy. We can do this! The good thing is too is that I am starting to tell the difference between "real hunger" and "head hunger". Good luck to everyone!
  4. Good Morning All, I use CalorieCount and my fitness pal
  5. Yes, who care what she thinks!!! In the long run it is up to every individual to follow the plan, eat right and workout. You can and you will do this!!
  6. Your post made me giggle because that is exactly how I feel. I still have a while to go but I am very excited. Good Luck!!!!
  7. Hey, Good luck with your surgery!! I am in just the begining stages of my weight loss journery. I have to take class for 12 wks through my insurance and that starts on 3/27/2015. I am excited for you and this is such a positive move in your life.
  8. Ok WOW!!! I feel better I thought I was the only one consumed with this surgery. I am with Kaiser and I have to take a 12 week course start 3/27/15, so that leaves me an August date. I am excited and ready for this change!
