  1. I get sleeved March 23rd. I seen surgeon today and asked all my questions..lol...I had a whole list. He wasn't very friendly and his nurse was rude. Anyways, I've been mentally ready and prepared but then he scared me today. He told me everything that could go wrong. I'm still going through with it. One thing I did find weird when I asked him about my pre op diet he said he doesn't give one. Just stay under 1200 calories!!! Yikes btw my surgery is with kaiser.
  2. So tomorrow I meet with the surgeon to schedule my surgery appt. I'm very nervous. Any last suggestions on questions I need to ask him?

  5. Hello, I'm going to be meeting with my surgeon next week. Are there any important questions that I should ask him? What did you ask your surgeon before surgery? I have a short list but just wanted some of your input. Thanks for all your tips and information.
  6. Thank you. I definitely am going to request it to be removed next week when I meet with my doctor. Thanks for all your info
  7. Have any of you heard of having your gallbladder removed with the sleeve surgery? What are the pros or cons?
  8. Haha kathys 101 tips are probably the most important to know!!! Thanks for the advice....I drink only water just need to drink a little more...I'm almost there. The hard thing to do is eat without a drink but I've been practicing lol. I guess I'm only scared of failing because I have a few coworkers around me that have failed. My doctor said that it's good I can recognize what they are doing wrong. It looks like be prepared is the key!
  9. Thank you I will definitely try that...it makes sense. I will do this today....it ve been monitoring my steps with a pedometer so I need to step it up with exercise. Thanks
  10. Thank you very much...totally agree with you. I trust my doctor fully, just one of the most reliable sources is people that have been through surgery. Did a 12 week course with my Healthcare and the most informative stuff was prior patients tips;)
