I cannot believe these people this year! The talent just is not there. I can't complain about who has gone home and who has not because I haven't voted yet this year. But I do think there must be something wrong with the sound on my tv! LOL Because what I hear sucks! (except for a select few) And seems what Randy thinks is good, I do not, and what he doesn't like, I do! LOL Maybe this week will be better!!:faint:

You were absolutely right about the last one!!! I don't know how many times we watched it!!! As far as with Paula, I have heard rumor after rumor about drug use and alcoholism....but i have also heard she has had alot of health issues, so who knows. She swears she does not drink, that its effects from medication for her health problems. Hollywood!!!! where the public never knows the truth!

Thats interesting about the Arizona girl. Yes I agree the judges are harsh at times, but I still find it hilarious! Maybe I am too crude as well! There is no way I could sit through 10,000 audtions and still be nice. I cannot believe some of those thinking they sounds good. Oh and Red, Mr. Freddie Mercury himself! LOL I about died!!! OMG that is so funny! And then he got mad. LOL The mom and daughter pair!! LOL And why why why would family and friends tell them they sounded good enough to make it, knowing they would be humilated on national tv!!!! We watched on DVR so we could rewind the funny parts over and over. I love my surround sound but not so much on some of those!! LOL Now I can't wait until next week!!!

Hey everyone! I haven't been on, we got smacked with a winter storm so my internet has been down. Last night was interesting to say the least! LOL OMG those people are crazy! Looks like we are off to a good season. How is Chris's CD? I need to get it! The one song thats on the radio seems to be pretty good. I was a Chris fan as well, I wanted him or Taylor to get it. There were times over the last two nights I thought I was going to bust I was laughing so hard. And like you I had my bose surround sound cranked. I don't think Jewel knew what the heck she got herself into!

Truthfully I was shocked to see a thread about American Idol, lol... it's 8 days not counting today, not soon enough if you ask me! so who did you vote for last year? I was a Taylor fan! So sorry to hear about the issue with Dr. Rumbaut. He did my surgery a little over a year ago. It was an amazing experience. I was completely impressed with the US staff. And my experience in MX was so awesome. I had very very little pain after surgery. Heck Dr. Rumbaut and his team all visited me at my hotel three times prior to leaving! I have nothing but great things to say about him!

Dr. Rumbaut did my surgery but Dr. Malley does my fills. I am extremely happy with Dr. Malley. He is very nice, easy to talk to, sincere....his office staff are wonderful ladies!!! I would highly recommend him!

I was banded in Mexico in Nov. 06. Dr. Malley does my fills in Kansas City, his number is 913-492-2530. He is very busy so it is sometimes difficult to get in.

Congrats!!!! Yippeee!!! lol Take Gas X!!! You will need after surgery. Get up and walk as soon as you can, helps with the gas pains! My gas pains hurt the worst at first. Your portal area will most likely be sore. Take it easy, don't expect too much out of yourself too quick, this is major surgery. Follow the post op diet. And keep checking your support group messages!! I am so excited for you!!

I had my surgery in Mexico and I don't have anything negative to say, I would go back in a second!! I went to Dr. Rumbaut, the care I received was astounding! I have never seen a hospital so clean, and people so respectful. And Dr. Rumbaut and his associates all visited me in the hotel several times. I know everyone has different experiences, but mine was wonderful.

Sorry to hear that. But you are so right, it is definitly worth the wait!!

This sounds kind of silly but it worked for me. I took a pillow and held it over my port area because it was sore, then I sat on the edge of the bed and gently bounced up an down, and it would cause me to burp! LOL I must say, sorry to be gross, but I never thought passing gas would feel so good during those first post op days!! I was like "Yippeee"!!! LOL I walked alot and took gas x. It will get better!

Hi Everyone, my name is Annie! I am new to this site, I have been reading post's off and on all weekend and have found this so helpful, supportive and informative. I have been researching WLS for a couple of years, and the lap band for about two months. I feel this is the best option for me. I have alot of weight to loose, and probably would loose more on the by-pass but I don't want to put my body through that. Plus with the amount I have to loose it would be safer to loose it slowly. SO, I am self pay. I have been to a couple of seminars in the Kansas City area (I am from Iola!) But I think I have decided to to go Monterrey Mexico. I was a little uneasy at first going to a foreign country but after a lot of research I am much more comfortable. If there are people out there that have gone to Mexico please contact me. Ya know for years I have known I have needed to do something. Like everyone else here, I have tried EVERY SINGLE DIET out there, sure I loose a little but not enough to even come close to the effort I put forth. It took me awhile to get over the feeling of I don't need surgery to loose weight, then I felt I didn't deserve the "easy" way out...finally I came to my senses and relized for one sugery is not an "easy" way out, there is nothing easy about surgery, its terrifying, and too I do deserve it. I am not a bad person because I am overweight. So no this is not the easy way out if anything its harder. But I am happy and excited over my decision. I am calling today or tomorrow to get my appointment set up in Mexico by Dr. Rumbaut. The people there are so nice and so willing to just chat with you about concerns. It is so gratifying to read about you guys, and your posts, its so incredibily helpful to know I am not alone and there are others that feel as I do. I don't feel like the minority. Anyways, first I wanted to say THANKS!! and secondly, lets talk!!LOL

Okay so I am five days into the liquid diet and it totally sucks! LOL I keep telling myself its not that long. I know how this will benefit me, but it sucks! LOL I did eat some tuna earlier today. My instructions where if you had to eat something, eat something high protien and low carb. Tuna has no carbs and decent amount of protien plus low cal. and low fat. I hope I didn't screw up too bad. Otherwise I am sticking to the liquids. I tell ya though, I had no idea Tuna could be so good! LOL Does anyone think it hurts to eat tuna? My surgery is Thurs. in Monterrey Mexico, I leave Tues. I am taking my little mixer with me. I am so excited and scared at the same time. I just want the date to get here! Sorry to complain about the liquids, but it really sucks. Not too much longer...I know I can do this!!!! Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!! THANKS!!! I love reading your posts!! You are guys are great! Annie
