Hi could you tell me how long it lasted please? I started clumps of hairloss at 3 months and for the last 6 weeks it had gone from thick to quite thin. Am wanting to have my roots done because it's looking so shabby but afraid it will make it worse. Around how long post op did it last till. ..

I started my weight loss journey at 123kilos. I lost 3 kilos while waiting for my specialist appointment. I had a 2 week preoperative diet of optifast shakes and vegetables only in which I lost 7 kilos. Surgery was almost 7 weeks ago now. I am now at a total loss of 21 kilos which makes 11 kilos in the last 7 weeks. I am feeling really good. The pain in my feet had disappeared. My energy levels are up. I am tolerating all foods and just had steak and Pepper sauce for dinner. Quantity of food is still small but i am enjoying it. My surgery met my expectations and the docs and dietician happy too. I am proud of myself for making the commitment and i know it was the right decision for me.

I lost 7kilo in the 2 weeks pre op and was 120kg to start

Hi...iam 3weeks postop and in pureed food stage. I lost 7 kilo on 2week post op diet and now 6 kilo since the op. My surgeon estimated i lose about 30 kilo (60%). As i have lost 13kg already and feel really good. ..i feel confident of achieving this goal. I know the progress will slow but i am determined to do what it takes. ...obviously lol

It was full fluids...anything i can get up a straw After the first 24 hours cleat fluid

Hi. ..3 days post op and feeling pretty good considering. Day one was pretty yuck with nausea and pain high up in stomach. Could not tolerate water. Would bring on pain and nausea. Day 2 managed to get free fluids down including soup ice cream and yogurt. ..only a little bit though. Still on Maxolon and some pain relief. Going home today and think I'll be fine. The op sites are good with no pain or problems. I knew it would all be a journey and first day was pretty hard...but i feel confident i will manage and am excited that the sleeve is now done. The worst behind me. ....hopefully lol

Hi. ..i am about 10 pre-op. I just told my brother i was going in to have sleeve procedure. He was concered because his neighbor had problems. Apparently she cannot stop her weight loss and is skinny as a rake. ..he said she had lots of problems and could not stop losing. Had anyone experienced this or heard of this? I don't think I've heard anything like this in all the forums I've been on.
