  10. @ Titan I have yet to throw up. I've had no complications other than a little heartburn immediately post op.. No need to be scared of others experiences. Everyone is different and may have other health issues causing these problems
  11. Chele I did not have my surgery here locally. My insurance regardless was going to make me pay 50% plus many other fees

  15. I am a RN also and went back to work right around the same time you did post op. Taking everyday in stride.
  16. Glad to know my feelings are not unusual. I've limited myself to once a weeks weigh ins and actually tonight I am going to start my measurements. I think I'm losing more inches than pounds. Good luck everyone. Just focus on being healthy and hydrated!

  20. So my surgery date was the same as yours. Your already allowed puréed foods? I'm supposed to do full liquids this week
  21. Even if her surgeon told her what to expect that doesn't mean her body will do that. You all should understand not everyone knows what to expect what is normal what is good what is bad. Just answer people's questions politely or just don't comment at all.... Smh
  22. I'm so glad to hear I'm not the only one getting waves of heartburn. Such an odd sensation. Never suffered from heartburn before only occasionally when I had spicy food
