Thanks! Did you talk to your surgeon also or just your OB Dr? Really don't have anyone to talk to about this. No one at my support group has gotten pregnant that I know of. And this would be our first time to try at all so everything is running through my mind.

The support group at Bailey is awesome I highly recommend it. I have been going to them for over a year and a half. Everyone is welcomed to it even if you don't have your surgery at Bailey.

I am almost a year out from my RNY bypass and I have done very well and have not had any complications. My husband and I have been talking about maybe trying to get pregnant in a couple of months. I go see my obgyn next month and I don't know what questions to ask. Does anyone have any advise/insight that has gotten pregnant after WLS?

Surgery is 9 days away - Apr 8th!!! liquids are torture but I got this!! Yes that liquid diet is a hard but you can do it, Just stay strong!!! If I had it to do over I would still do the surgery. So excited for you!!!

I was the same way I had my mind made up that I was going to do the sleeve but after talking to Dr. Kirk and Dr. Varnell I went with RNY. I am happy with my decision hopefully we can try to find each other it would be neat to talk face to face. The meetings are separated at first then all of the post op patients get to come in and talk with the pre op patients.

i have only got sick 3 times since my bypass surgery in Nov - I have been really happy with the results. Hope to try to meet you!!

. hi! I had the bypass in November 2014 with Dr. Varnell he is wonderful!!! The meetings at Bailey are great you will get tons of info. I am planning on being at the March meeting.

Dr. Katsis checked on me the day after, he was really nice. I just really liked Dr. Varnell he is a great doctor and very knowledgable in regards to gastric surgery and the stomach area.

The owasso support group meetings are very good!! Who is your surgeon? I had Dr. Varnell, really was impressed with all of the staff from Bailey.

Hello everyone I had my surgery just a couple of months ago. I am feeling good, the hardest thing is that I feel like I am on an emotional roller coaster. But I am still so glad that I went through with it. Jenn
