  1. I know I shouldn't but I compare my numbers to where others are all the time. I am 5 months out and have lost 74lbs. This month has been my slowest at losing so far. My starting weight was 388 I feel I should have lost at least 100lb by now.
  2. Haven't ask him will next week at my visit. But I've been having tea but I'd like to know if it's bad or what the effects could be.
  3. Ok I'm 12wks out when can I have regular tea--not decaf--when did you start having caffeine again?
  4. The prilosec I was sent home with never worked someone suggested Nexium to me and it works! I am at 11 wks post op and my Dr said at my next visit he wants me to start working my way off the heartburn meds
  5. I don't want them for weight loss but have a friend that was sleeved a few years ago and said body wraps are good for loose skin...I was just really wanting opinions on what works or helps. My skin is very dry after surgery and I put lotion on several times a day.
  6. I'm only about 2 months out and total weight loss is 50lbs but has anyone tried body wraps so loose skin? Does it help?
  7. When my husband ask for prayer for me before my surgery people actually would ask if I had something serious and of course I told only the ones who ask. I've been pretty open about my surgery...if ASK but I normally try to stay low key about it. What makes me happy about this post is someone knowing the power in Prayer! I was so scared in pre op that I prayed non stop! My prayers were heard and I have healed perfectly
  8. I love my fitbit! I like being able to see what I have done and what I need to be doing. I am a numbers person so I like seeing 10,000 steps or 5 miles walked. My Fitbit motivates me to get moving
  9. I had surgery Nov 18 but I do have hip pain and wondered if it's from loosing weight and maybe loosing the cushion we used to have. Mine almost feels like more like a shifting pain when I walk for long periods of time. I have not ask my Dr but if it continues I may.
  10. I know this will not make me lose weight I still have to do the work but I am loving my Fitbit so far!
  11. Nov 18th...doing great! Haven't found a food yet that I can't tolerate. Since 2 wks before liquid diet until today I'm down 44lbs.
  12. I'm almost 6 wks out and what I thought was gas was spasms and my anti spasm medicine helped with the pain...mine was so bad in my left shoulder I thought I was having a heart attack
