I'm 2.5 weeks post-op and i feel the same way. My family was eating pizza last night and I fantasized about taking one bite, I didn't do it, but it was tempting. I went in the kitchen and heated my refried beans with cheese and I was ok afterwards

I had 2 day pre-op liquid of clear fluids.

Had surgery on the 13th @ 4pm.surgery ended around 8. I'm doing fine. No complications!! Of course pain but I'm able to control medication as needed. I did my swallow x-ray and it was fine just laying here watching TV and feeling really blessed with how everything is going.

I feel the same way too! I will have my surgery tomorrow at 11:30 a.m. This will be a new beginning for me. I've been up since sunday night thinking about my life and how it will change and the changes I have to make.

My surgery date is 1-13-2015...so excited..i worry will i maintain after surgery....I've decided...I WILL!
