  1. Day 2=postop. Still feel good, zero nausea/voniting, soreness stung in, but managed with med. Only problem is I am peeing like arussian race horse, and can't get unplugged quick enough, have had a few accidents..lol
  2. So far so good, only real pain is my drain. Thank God its over! Hope all you other 12/22 sleeves are doing good!
  3. I am absolutely flipping out. My nerves are at about a "10". I'm soo hungry and hoping I won't feel like this for the next month or so. Hoping I'm one of those people that breeze on through. Hoping my pain is minimal and nausea/vomiting is zero, hoping no serious complication,.... hoping hoping hoping...lol. I wish someone could knock me out and it be over now!
  4. Probably a stupid question, but why can we not have regular popsicles? It would be a very small amount of sugar and if thats one of the only things you can tolerate for a few days, seems like it would be ok.
  5. Anyone have to do any kind of bowel prep? I'm debating on doing an enema, I know things slow down after anesthesia, I thought I would feel better if I was as empty as possible. I am just about jumping out of my skin with nerves, would love to fast forward 4 months!
  6. I have surgery monday and have those to take also, they are capsules and was wondering if I should open them or swallow whole? I can't beelive if youhave that much trouble getting 1-2 oz of Water down that we can get a large capsule down. It's a little daunting looking..lol.
  7. Mine is Monday also, I've had this scheduled since March..lol. SO I've had alot of time to stress over it. I have ALOT of anxiety about it, but am pushing on! Hope everyone comes out with little pain and no nausea /vomiting! Good Luck
  8. YES! I am one week away and my anxiety level is at about a 9. I was approved for this a few years ago and chickened out once, I'm forcing myself to go through with this no matter what. I have "control " issues..lol.. and this will be my first surgery so I am leary of being put under and what not. Good luck everybody!
  9. @@DarleneCh, yes I am struggling horribly, still having to cook and shop for the rest of the family is making it harder. I have caved and ate some regular food along the way, I try to keep it just meat though so at least its protien. As far as the diet pepsi, I was surprised to see in my doctor's diet paper work, he only recommends to stay away from carbonated drinks for 2 months, so it may not be out of the question further down the line. Hang in there, we are doing what we can, I think mostly this is teaching me just how much of a food problem I have..lol. My fingers are crossed I don't have this hard of a time post op b/c I have one full month on fluids!
  10. I started my pre op last week and have failed miserably, I've tried to tighten up and do better yesterday and today, but I am so hungry. I have protien "supplements", shakes, bars, Soups, that the doctor office makes and sells. I think it's a little shady that we have to use the products that they manufacture. Hopefully I can pull it off next week, this is depressing me, I didn't think I would have this much of a problem. Dr has only refused surgery out of several thousand, and it was a RNY I believe where they found undigested food in colon. I have major PMS also, which is making it harder. I admire those that can do it without cheating.
