  1. Holy moly. You look fantastic!!!!! Thank you so much ????I'm still perfecting the art of receiving compliments from everyone. In the back of my head, I'm like how much of a fat a$$ was I lol..
  2. It's really helped me when I felt like not much changed!! Seriously!!!
  3. It's amazed me at how fast it's come off!!!! I've followed every direction and exercised 4-5 days a week full body, circuit training. Cardio as well as strength training on my Bowflex.. I'm getting 64oz of water and 70+ ounces of protein everyday!! I've been able to do both from about the first week after surgery.. I've been very fortunate!!!! Congratulations on your loss!!! That's a wonderful number, but I know what you mean, with it not being to different body wise yet. I started to see the difference at about 70lbs for my body size. I started off @349lbs... And now 258lbs.. I went from 52 waist, to a 46 and now that size is falling off me. I've only been heavy for about 8 yes, so I saved all my skinny clothes, so i have all my sizes back down. I told my partner Chad, you'll be so glad one day I didn't throw all these clothes away. And now my prophesy is coming true lol. I wish you the best of luck on your journey!!! Your noticeable change is very near, trust me!!!!! And I hope you are taking pictures!!!! I'm doing pics on the 5th of every month, with that being my surgery date, May 5th 2015. Seeing those pictures after the first moths progress really inspired me, especially when I wasn't seeing much difference in my clothes yet. I could totally see it in the pictures...
  4. YOU LOOK FANTASTIC!!!!! Good god... Way to go mister Thank you so much!! I can't believe 91lbs already!!! In just 3 months!!!!
  5. The unflavored protein powder was my saving grace at getting all my requirements in!!!
  6. Every doctors instructions are different!!! Obviously listen to your surgeon! My doc said, 64oz of water and 70 grams of protein a day. So I combined the two, so as to not cram protein in liquid form, plus all that water on top of other protein liquids. There was just no way of get all that in!!!
  7. Nature's Best Isopure, Whey Protein Isolate, Unflavored (Zero Carb), 3-Pound Tub https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002TG3QPO/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_L0bXvb7XY8RP4 I just put it in my flavored water and it went so smoothly!!!
  8. Unflavored protein powder in your water
  9. Congratulations on your date and I wish you a speedy recovery!!! Wasn't it's exciting getting that call today? Like it made everything just stand still for a second lol..
  10. Definitely read as much as you can, and don't be afraid to ask tons of questions here, and most importantly, your surgeon. If you don't speak up for yourself, someone else will speak up for you instead, meaning, don't let someone make any decisions for ya!!! Knowledge going into this is so important. There are so many wonderful people, at so many different levels in their journeys.
  11. Start talking with a bariatric knowledgeable therapist, sooner than later. You are gonna go through some patches where you will need that type of help, help that will get you through the tough times. It's a mind game sometimes. Sometimes you win and sometimes you don't... I wish I'd of known to do that beforehand. But I made it through.. And the first three days of pre-op diet, if your doctor even requires one, are the hardest!!! Once you get past that it's so much easier!
  12. Welcome and good luck on your journey.. I'm 3 months post-op and am down 91lbs already!!

  18. So excited for your progress!!!! Congratulations!!!!! Good luck with all the juggling, I think for most of us, it's been the same thing!!! LIFE!!!! Lol we all are doing so well!!! Like really good!! And I can't believe it's been 3 months for me as of yesterday.. Just crazy!!
  19. I'm definitely doing good on taking vitamins, I do sometimes forget that 3rd dose of my calcium powder, mainly because of being at work late. I set my alarm, but a client is usually sitting in my chair and I can't step away!! And I totally lol'd on the Popsicle thing lol... Hi my name is Jaysen, and I'm a sugar free Popsicle addict!!! I totally can eat that many!!!

  21. We know that when we opt for this surgery it's only a tool , have to have our heads on straight too. Ur doing so much better then OK , 90 lbs. amazing !!! U can and will achieve ur goals. Good days and bad, hang in. Thank u ❤️ its just part of the changing process, that's it!! I'm at the beginning and know it'll continue to get better!!
  22. 91lbs in 3 months is soooooo much better than not bad... I won't have my official 3 month weight until Friday but, I am at about 60 lbs (and I am ecstatic about it!!) I think the fact that you are analyzing what you are putting into your body means that you are on the right track, you are staying accountable and that counts for a lot! I've found recently that I need either a mid morning or late afternoon (planned) snack depending on when I take my lunch hour. But, I am prepared for that and keep healthy stuff in my desk and fridge. I just have to remind myself that this is a process and I am still new to it, I have to learn my limitations and not push them. Congratulations on your loss ???? and thank you for your response ???? it definitely is a process... And yes mid afternoon snacks are a good idea..
