  1. Everyone is different, it depends on your starting weight and like a million other personal things. Everyone is so different. I know I started at 334 and the first 30 fell right off. Since that though, these past two weeks I'm barely moving at all. I just remind myself that every stall or loss is still better than gaining and try to keep positive from there. Stay strong. You will see results.
  2. Omg the pain is ssoooooooooo less than gall bladder
  3. I have a 20 month old daughter that I can't chase on the playground. I can't fit in theatre seats or concert seats. Booths at restaurants got tighter and clothes got smaller. I realized this was simply not ok. Surgery was Dec 4.
  4. I was sleeved on Dec 4th. My starting weight was 334. I am currently at 296 and holding. I'm at my first stand still and it's driving me crazy. The weight is coming off from my legs and face but not my hips. This is causing my pants to not change at all in fit. It frustrates me that I can't wear jeans still. I am slightly bigger than a 28 and am just anxious to get down to a decent fitting 26 so I can get back in cute jeans!!! Of course the idea of an end result of non plus size clothes is even better. Does anyone else have a hard time imagining the surgery working to slim you so much? I've never been thin. I guess in my head it was decided years ago I Never would be and now it's hard to change that.
  5. Oh I hope this is headed my way. I've felt such a lack of desire for a few years now and was hoping there was a chance of that changing with the weight loss$
  6. Dec 4th was my surgery. Lost 35 lb in first month but have stalled for almost 2 weeks. I lost 4 lb the last few days but that was a stomach virus I had. Anxious to start losing again. I can't wait to fit in smaller clothes. No change so far
  7. I told a select few before I had the surgery and then 3 weeks after I told the world via Facebook. I didn't care what they thought at that point and really I only got one negative comment back to me. I didn't have any reason to hide it. I figure I could have helped ONE person I know in their journey to lose or even just to give confidence to admit something that may not be the "IDEAL" choice for most. I feel a billion times better after telling everyone. I am a stay at home mom though so workwise I have no help
  8. That was part of my idea Lexie... eating out meal choice lol
  9. Three weeks out, almost four. I know I am not ready but I want to be! Haha I have been craving a salad since before the surgery. Just trying to decide when I can try it in the future
  10. I did speak to my doctor today and it is absolutely normal. Thanks to you all though for reassuring me so I could sleep late night!!!
  11. Thanks guys!!!!! I was a little freaked out. I didn't think about blood thinners or the weight loss being factors. Duh lol
  12. I had the same issue. My doctor told me to stop the shakes because the water was sooooooo much more important. He suggested trying to make my own shakes with Greek yogurt and fruit. I still can't seem to get in 64 Oz but I sure am trying!!! But ya anyway it Depends on the doctors though I'm sure. I would talk to yours and see what they say good luck and keep in mind it won't last forever!
  13. I am concerned and maybe a bit confused. I have the mirena since April. I haven't had a "visible" cycle in probably 4 or 5 months and now just one week after surgery it's seeming to make up for lost time. Coincidence or is this actually affected by the surgery???
  14. I'm well thank you! A little sore but hardly anything comparing to after surgery. Those pains were the worst. I'm finding it hard to get in all the fluids but boy am I trying. I've never drank enough so this is something I'm working hard at.
  15. Yes please I have to do family dinner and this part of the family doesn't know that I had surgery and I didn't plan to tell them. How do I make it look like I eat more than I do????
  16. Surgery was like 45 minutes for me but the waking up I guess was a little longer
  17. This is wonderful! I know the feeling as I'm sure many others here do as well. Go you! Lol
