  1. It's exciting and scary all the same time. I can't wait till I can ride a roller coaster again!
  2. Congratulations! I'm going on my liquid diet on the 16th. Is it hard to eat and drink? I'm worried about dehydration. From support group they say the pain right after is pretty intense. I hope you have a speedy recovery!
  3. The antibiotics should get rid of it but if it comes back they will have to do a biopsy! That's probably worse case. It's gonna be ok
  4. It's the bacteria in your stomach that causes ulcers. I have to be rid of it before surgery. I'm just worried it will still be present!
  5. I Have a question about H-pylori. my surgery is for the 29th but I tested positive for h-pylori. I'm on the antibiotics and I retest on the 23rd. What are the chances I could test positive again?
  6. I'm new to this... My name is Chelsea and I'm having gastric bypass surgery on the 29th. I went to support group last night and when I walked into the hospital, it all became so real. This is where this is happening. My life will change here. I'm 330 pounds right now. My goal is 180. I'm only 24 and I can't remember being under a size 14. I'm scared and excited. I'm mad and sad in a bittersweet kind of way. Sad that the girl looking back at me in the mirror, the girl I've forced myself to love no matter what will disappear. Does anyone have any advise for settling the nerves pre op? Thank you!
