My surgery went awful. I lost so blood that i had to get admitted to the hospital. I kept passing out and busting my head so ive had a blood transfusion so far. Been in this hospital for abt three days now

Tomorrow is my big day. December 29th, 2014 will be a day to remember. My high weight was 288.8. My starting weight is 273.0. I'm excited and nervous at the same time. After reading darn near all the posts on BP i'm pretty sure i'm making the right decision. Please, everyone, keep me in your prayers ???? ????

Hey Sleevers, My surgery is set for this Monday December 29th at 9:30am but i'm having some issues with getting the amount of protein in that i'm suppose to. They want us to get 60-80 but I just can't see how that is going to be possible being on a clear liquid diet after the surgery. I can hardly get the required amount now and I haven't even had the surgery yet. Help please!!! Any advice would be appreciated!

Hey I have BCBS. They will approve you if your BMI is at least 35 and you have at least one underlying medical issue (high blood pressure, diabetes etc.) or if your bmi is just morbidly obese with no medical issues they will. BCBS is legit. Their the best insurance anyway could ask for.

I'm scheduled for surgery on Dec 29th as well but my doctor recommends a high protein diet for our two week pre op. He stated it will decrease the size of our liver thus helping him access our stomach better.

So today I had my pre op examine and it went well. Now im on my two week high protein diet plan and then comes my surgery. Im excited and scared at the same time. Help!! ????

Hey, I used it for about two months and I went from 265 to 220 like it was nothing. But it gave me this weird feeling and my mouth was constantly dry no matter how much Water I had. It was a good 'tool' but after you stop using it you will gain the weight back plus more. This was my experience with it

Hey you should call because uou usually find out before your doctor does. When mine got approved I called my doctor's office right away to set up my surgery day and here I am with a surgery date of December 29th, 2014!!
