  1. I am 2 days post op and had blood in my stool. Called surgeon and he said if it continues it call him back. I am seeing if anyone else has gone through this.
  2. I am 5 days post op from RNY. I have had blood in my urine since 2 days post op. I am feeling perfectly fine other than that. Getting all liquids, vitamins, and protein in. Called dr and they said it's fine as long as it doesn't get worse. Has any other ladies experienced this? I did have to have an in and out catheter so maybe that is why or early period?

    Daily rutine

I use unjury Protein powder and Celebrate powder. You can buy both online. ~In the morning I feel my 24 oz Water bottle up. ~Make an 8 oz Protein Drink add in Calcium citrate crystals. It's hard for me to chew the calcium pills as they are huge and chalky. ~I then Lay out multi Vitamin, thyroid medicine, birth control, B1, Biotin, Prilosec, and each time I take a sip of water I take a pill that is a capsule. The multi vitamin is chewable and I have a lot easier time eating once I split it in 4ths. It takes me 4 hours to get 8 oz down of protein. Once that is down I focus on just getting in water and other clear fluids. ~Once 1 or 2 o'clock hits I make my second protein and add in the calcium crystals. I also mix my protein with lactaid milk as I have become lactose intolerant after surgery! ~Around 5 pm I take my other multi vitamin and chew up a calcium. ~Around 8 pm I take an Iron as you have to wait 2 hours after taking calcium as it interacts with eachother. It's a busy day keeping up with protein, water, and Vitamins but totally doable. My water goal is 64 oz and protein is 60 grams. I forgot the mention I am 5 days post op RNY.
  4. Really. It is super light. Glad to hear it's happening to someone else! thank you for your response.
  5. Was it bright red or maroon in your stool? Mine is really dark almost black. Dr said that it is old blood coming out from surgery.
  6. I am scheduled to have surgery on December 30th. I woke up with a cold on Saturday. Has anyone developed a cold and they still operated on you! I read in my surgery Manual that I would have to be re-evaluated for surgery. I am just wondering if anyone has gone through this. I am having RNY. Thanks in advance for any advise.
  7. Thank you for your response. Dr said surgery is a go as long as there isn't a fever or severe cough. Surgery here I come!
