Thanks. My dad told me they are just happy for me but I feel that's not the reason if they actually was happy for me they would respect my wishes

I had chose not to tell many about my surgery. I told my parents (I work for my dad and needed my mom to watch my dog), three good friends, my sisters, and my boyfriend. I asked them all to respect my decision and not tell anyone... well my mother has told EVERYONE and my little sister has told some of her in-laws!!!! At my little sister's baby shower everyone kept coming up and asking me and I was fuming!!!! Am I wrong for being so irritated and for holding a grudge especially against my mother? (My mother and I don't get along and has never gotten along)

This is my clear liquid day #2. Only two days away! Surprisingly my nerves haven't went up yet! I'm slowly making a list as I still have to work until day of surgery and also start back up a week after. :/ but I am a cash pay so I have to make money! I'm so excited to start my new lifestyle with all of you!!!

Anyone im Pennsylvania getting sleeved in the near future? Mines in 10 days!!!

My pre op appointment was yesterday. I made all payments and also signed all concents. It's so good to hear the girls in the office say "see you after your surgery!" My surgeon gave me a binder and all guidelines to follow before and after surgery on my first appointment with him. They also gave me a bunch of free samples of vitamins and protein shakes/suppstitue

My pre op diet is 1200 calories from now until 72 hours before surgery then for those 3 days I'm on a sugar free clear liquid diet.

I'm afraid to tell people too. I have told a select few so that I have a good support team but some have already been unsupportive or haven't had anything to say to me. Most are happy for me but I just don't want the judgment. I've struggled for 8 years trying to lose weight. They don't know my story. I'm scared that I won't lose the weight :/

That's a good idea! Only 20 more days! I'm nervous but excited for the future! How about everyone else? How do you guys feel?

I would love to ultimately be at 120 but I'll be happy and satisfied at 135! Good luck to everyone!

Is anyone paying full price cash pay for their surgery? I am because my insurance doesn't cover it. How much are you roughly paying?

My surgery date is February 18th. I have a lower BMI than some (38.2) anyone else around this date or anyone else have a similar BMI?
