Any New Jersey Sleevers on here?
I was wondering what surgeon in Nj did you choose and how your procedure went?

Just a few questions.
Has anyone here had the sleeve surgery and not loss any weight? I keep reading where people only lose 39 pounds or something like that, the numbers aren't to high. Thats kind of discouraging for me to read! What keeps them from losing poor diet? Or what? Then I read where someone lost 140 pounds in 10 months! What makes them lose so much? What am I expected to lose at 430 pounds? Cause I would be heartbroken if I would only lose 30 pounds! Casey!

Should I get the sleeve
Thank you all for the replies! I really do appreciate hearing from all of you! Your words are encouraging! I'm just nervous you know, I don't want to go through with this procedure and then regret it because of complications. I can handle all the minor ones I just worry about the serious ones. I do have to contact my insurance provider. The surgeon I'm looking into here in New Jersey I guess is a good one, he was credited bariatric of excellence, I read he has done 700 VSG since 2006. A lot more bypass surgeries like 4,000 of them he was also named nj top doctor from 2007-2013. He sounds like a good one to choose. Thanks again! Casey

Should I get the sleeve
Hi I'm in need of some advice here, I'm 27 roughly 430 pounds at 6'4 I'm a big boy. I'm tired of being fat. I used to work construction as a welder. I hurt my back and haven't worked in a long time gained 100 pounds since being unemployed. I can't get around like I used too. I am not enjoying life anymore! I embarrassed to go anywhere with my girlfriend because of my weight. I would like to know how often do leaks occur, how are they treated? Or what are more serious complications? Please any information that you will provide will be greatly appreciated! Sincerely, Casey
