Me too. Seem to do well during day and at night I have spasms. So I finally made it upstairs and took a shower. Took a lot of energy out of me lol. Trying my best to drink the liquid protein (isopure). Today we get full liquids but I haven't tried anything lol...

Still a little pain. Getting up is getting easier... How is everyone else doing?

I just got home from my pre-op appt. I am so excited and ready for this new beginning in life! I ain't gonna lie, yes I am nervous but so hopeful for my future and knowing that the best is yet to come!! God is so good, and I know he's got this, and my prayers go out to everyone else having this procedure! Blessings!!!????????

I started my liquid diet (as in protein shakes only for 5 days and then two days of clear liquids Is coming this weekend) this past Monday and the first day I had the teensiest bite of a Lasagna noodle and Tuesday i had piNch of meatloaf. I haven't touched anything else solid and don't dare to as it gets closer to my surgery this Monday the 15th. Hang in there! Keep reminding yourself why you're doing this!!! You got this!!! ????

I'm 2 weeks out from surgery this coming Monday so I'll be starting the pre-op diet which is 3 protein shakes and a frozen (under300calories) meal. This is for the first week only. Needing help on the protein shakes. What kind is best and what stores are they found in. I live in a small town but am close enough to drive to the mall and get things. Also, how many ounces are the shakes? And.... Lol all the vitamins we gotta take after surgery is so confusing! What's the best all in one or next best multivitamin chewable to take? Thanks for all inputs...

I'm hoping to be back after two weeks. If I can go back after one that would be awesome and I could save the vacation time for January. Just curious about others tho.. thanks for the replies...

I am 3 weeks pre-op. I was told a minimum of 2 weeks but understand it's different for everyone. I'm just curious about others? What is your job and how long were you out before being released back to work? ????
