  8. Sassy- Thank you so much and YES you do want to go through with it! I'm not gonna lie, it's a rough road through the month following surgery, but once you are through it, it is SO worth it! You can do it! You will look and feel fabulous!! I have zero regrets and a Summer I'm actually looking forward to!

  17. Hello all you losers! 6 weeks post op and I've definitely hit and stayed in a stall. Haven't lost any weight in three weeks but I am not worried. I have lost over 30 inches all over my body and I can tell I'm losing, just not in pounds. HW 266 SW 257 CW. 226. Definitely a roller coaster of a journey but I am focusing on Summer and how smaller, healthier, and energetic I will feel!!!

  26. Thinking of you @blissful! Let us know how your recovery is going when you feel like it!
  27. I'm two weeks post-op today and had a pretty typical recovery. Although yesterday and today I am having painful shooting pains beside my belly button, about an inch and a half below my big incision. Pain makes my cry out and almost takes me to my knees. Anyone experience this?!?!

  29. I had my two-day post-op clear liquid diet, a one week liquid diet, and my post-op visit with doctor today (sleeved 1/14) said I was good to go on puréed foods! He said as long as I can blend it down and make sure I take VERY small bites, I can try my luck! Obviously every doctor gives different post-op diet instructions and I'm sure they want you to be safe than sorry.
  30. Hi RedS, sounds like my story down to a T! I was sleeved on Jan 14th and I am feeling the same! I haven't had any nausea, just lots of soreness when in transition to stand/sit. I don't have an appetite at all so it has been difficult to force myself to drink or eat anything, especially water. I have my first follow-up tomorrow and I am hoping he gives me green light to puréed food- might be wishful thinking! I am so ready to be over this hump and begin my new life! Love hearing from all of you - best of luck in recovery to each of you!
  31. I am in HORRIBLE pain when I get up out of a chair or when I sit down! Once I'm in position I'm fine but the transition is excruciating! I'm hoping this is normal although I don't how much longer I can tolerate it!!!
  32. Hello ladies, I am on Day 2 post op (surgery was Wed morning) and I now am in horrible pain! Standing up and sitting down my body just screams...is this normal? Going to the bathroom makes me cry to get on and off toilet. I'm assuming after a major surgery it is but want some reassurance. Thanks!

  34. I'm from Gardner,KS and I was just sleeved yesterday! I would love to join a meet and greet group if you all continue after January. (I think this weekend would be a stretch so soon after surgery) but would love to join!
