  1. Make no mistake I got a binder too and know what the deal is on everything, but I want some chew stuff. Saw dr yesterday and she was extatic with my progress. Down 30!!! Post op day 11
  2. Go get Nectar chocolate truffle and and a product called PB2. One scoop of nectar and two tablespoons of pb2 powder in a shaker bottle. Tastes like a liquid Reese peanut butter cup a little thicker and no "protein shake after taste" whatsoevr
  3. I am a week ahead of ya all. Big dude I share many of your sentiments. I lost quite a bit (before surgery, very strict diet) and started participating in triathlons. Then had a set back with an injury and an automotive accident and rapidly put the weight back on. However, I truly understand your thoughts. Just a little funny something to make ya laugh for today.... My Triathlon Strategy Don't Drown Don't Crash Don't Quit
  4. Woke up this morning in a state of panic that I had lost a TON of weight and I looked like a dang bobblehead doll like Al Roker and Nate Newton. At least I woke up laughing
  5. Just had surgery (one week ago today) by Dr. Malladi and so far so good!!!!
  6. I am 11/10 and hit week anniversary tomorrow. Fully expect to be at 25 lbs lost in two weeks. I think I'd about kill for something crunchy right now! HAHA
  7. I actually ate a chocolate dipped ice cream bar day 5 post op and my stomach wasn't quite ready for it. Just had some discomfort not really pain went to bed early and all was well after an hour or so
  8. I have hada a really easy time and feel the same way. I am 6 days post op. I haven't had much pain, nausea, or anything and added milk based cheese Soup with no chunks tonight and for first night I feel like I had "reel" food. Outside Protein shakes (thank the Lord!) Protein shakes were getting very old!!!! Just trying to figure out the next thing to add into the mix
  9. Is it the digestion of the corn itself or chemical make up. Reason I ask is I found some Campbells corn Soup that is pure liquid. I was thinking about adding it to my diet next week.
  10. I am 6 days post and my class ring is almost free to the point I might be able to flick it off if tried real hard!
  11. I was contemplating how that might work in a Protein shake! That might really add another layer of flavor into a bland Protein shake
  12. Where did you get it and how are you using it?
  13. Ready2b I would kill for a scrambled egg and retried Beans. As a matter of fact I am almost 100% certain I have never craved retried beans until today. Haha I really have not been nauseas, in pain, or feel like things have been restrictive other than picking up heavier objects. Had to have my mom and wife unload to five gallon buckets today. I am taking next week off of work and plan on working on a car I am restoring. No heavy lifting just light wrenching My follow up is Wednesday and I am going to try and push things just a little after the doc gives me the thumbs up
  14. She wanted liquids 1 week before and one after surgery. Then on to applesauce, purée, no chunk soups, etc. I just want a real piece of food. Ugh!!!!
  15. I am 5 days post op doing very well on fluids and protein shakes, but I want some thing real! I'd like something a cracker, a little bit of canned chicken, etc. something beyond water, broth and protein shakes! What would ya'all do?
