  1. Aww I appreciate your transparency on your feelings and your process. Congrats on obtaining your date. I'm currently going through the pre op process. Lots of docs but I know it will be worth it. Keep posting girlfriend. Your an inspiration!
  2. Well guys. I got my checklist Tuesday. I'm already 80% done! It's been quite the task calling all of these doctors scheduling appointments to fit my schedule & make sure they have referrals etc. But I know it will be worth it. Thanks to everyone in this thread for the info & support. I'll keep you guys posted.
  3. the website is actually www.bariatricspschevaluations.com when I googled it it came right up! Thanks for the info
  4. Thank you so much for her information. Someone else said they saw her and I have been trying to find that # and couldn't.
  5. Thanks for sharing your story. Definitely gave me some inspiration as I am now in pre-op stages. Best of luck to you!
  6. Congrats beautiful! And keep pushing. This is just the beginning. I'm looking forward to my process.
  7. well guys...I finally saw Dr. Goldstein and I have my checklist. I already have 50% of my appointments set for the next week. I would really like to have my checklist complete by the first week of Feb. At the rate I'm going this may be possible. I am however having an issue finding a place for this psych clearance. Looks like Horizon doesn't cover it. And places are charging $300-$399. Any help with this?
  8. I understand. Thanks for sharing the info.
  9. How were they with setting you up for the consult. I'm trying to go through Goldstein and its like pulling teeth trying to reach them. Then once i do reach them I can't seem him until at least 2 months later. Plus they make you go to a seminar and stuff. Plus his offices are far out. I'm right here in Burlington so Lumberton & Mt. holly would be great
  10. I'm looking to loose about 115 to 150. I'm sooo afraid of the sleeve. I can't cope with knowing most of my stomach will be permanently gone. And bypass is out of the question. I'm liking the band because its reversible & faster recovery but I'm afraid it may not be effective fast enough.
  11. Awesome... I have my first consult Tuesday. I'm nervous & excited at the same time. I thought I was pretty sure on which procedure I wanted but the more research I do the more confused I am. Lol

  13. Hi everyone. I have been reading all of the post since its inception in 2013. So many of my questions have been answered. I'm currently seriously considering the lap band. I noticed the doctor who I am trying to set up an appointment with Dr. Goldstein was mentioned a few times here. Please continue to keep us informed. Thanks ladies!
