Seriously Iam 1 month out and I still don't get more than 16 oz of water or more than 30-35 grams of protien its not that I can't I just choose not too idk why I'm eating all the wrong foods I just had CHIPS yesterday I had cake today and cheesecake sooooo much spicy food I used to think I couldn't get all the liquids n protiens in but this week has been bad bad bad n I've eaten a lot of juice so if I can get that much juice in a sitting I can get that water in idk what to do everyone in this house eats SOOO damn much FOOD FOOD FOOD that's all they do and I give in to temptation I Wish my tummy would hurt with all that bad food but it didn't which makes it 20x harder to sit there n watch ppl ughhhhh so mad at my self ....... Sorry there's no punctuation it a rant. ????

I went to the hospital over this drip of blood . I was so scared. I would have fainted if I was going through what you are. You shouldn't put a price on your health GO To the docs they need to see that . Good luck

I'm about 11 days out and I'm still in pain on my right side too just the right incision. That's the only one that's ever hurted from the 5 I have. I went to the hospital yesterday because the right one was dripping blood and I was worried. The doc said I Wasent a ziplock bag that could be sealed and open whenever I wanted. They told me most of the work was done on that one. We have layers of patched up walls just because the ones we see are sealed doesn't mean the underlying ones are too.

My potassium levels went down right after surgery, they had to give me some through the iv to bring it back to normal. Your body is confused and trying to adjust you should go back to normal in a few days

I also did the medicine cup thing that holds one once, I love water I wish I could gulp it down , cantstand protien drinks ????.

Iam still in a liquid diet on my own terms I've only sip on water ,isopure and powerade zero . Actual food I've tried sugar free jello Italian ice it made feel icky and now I tried apricot baby food and applesauce and it's doing ok

Yes the iv fluids made me feel so much better and I'm only 10days out , yesterday I drank a full bottle of water I see my intake is getting better. The thing is that I'm not in a weight loss program he said I can purée anything I want. I didn't mean eat it whole sorry for the misunderstanding

I went to the ER yesterday, well to the same hospital I got my surgery done they gave me some iv fluids and I told him about my intake he said it was fine and that it will take time for me to reach my goal but aslong as I do alittle more fluids each day Ill be fine

It's so hard to get that water in .. It hurt so much ! I'm going to call my surgeon today thanks you guys also can I eat watermelon ?

Hi I would love your input on this question. Iam 5'0 short...starting weight232 before the surgery and today is day exactly a week and I weight 210 .. That's 22lb and my hair is already falling out . I can only get about not more than 4 oz of liquids a day My tongue is white . I'm urinating everyday though ? Help !I'm I going too fast?

Well I wasent a person that could burp or pass gas easily (tmi) n I NEVER had hiccups , after the surgery well you have to get the gas they bloat you with out and now 8 days post op I burp allllllday with any move ments , I still have difficulty passing gas and I get the hiccups when I take big gulps of water

I'm SOOOO bloated too I look preggers also. I wonder when I will be able to suck it in ? ????

@@Sleeve101 working out?!? I'm far from that . I can do pretty much everything basic (today actually). I walk a bit around the house but I had a hernia repair which the docs wouldn't do without a sleeve because if I gained weight after the repair it would be much worse.. Trying to get a full on recovery because I DO NOT want another surgery ????. I've lost 12lbs in 6 days WOW that would of took me 2 months or more

Yes it will!! I had a ripping feeling and was SOOO sore on my right side it was terrible I cried that I shouldn't have DONE it I told the docs I needed strong pain meds n the did up it a bitty . I cried to the nurse that I couldn't get up to the bathroom !! I insisted on the bed pan . I cried to the doctors not to release me on day 3 of my hospital stay because I literally couldn't get even an ounce of Water in me I was afraid to dehydrate now I'm glad they didn't baby me otherwise my recovery would be much slower . YOU NEED TO WALK WALK WALK Today is day 6 I feel SOOO much better I get up on my own n walk more I COULDNT EVEN WIPE MY BUTT my sister in law wiped me twice , now I can do it aaalll by myself lol

@ LipstickLady wow !! Congrats on an easy recovery Iam so jelly ???? I'm in day 5 still sore still walking like a baby and still in round the clock pain meds ....

So I took them 30 min apart and it just made my stomach gurgle and make me burp alittle more than usually alittle painful but tolerable , thanks for your input guys

I have Tylenol with codeine and duco something ( to help with constipation) can I take them together????

I was on morphine shots through the iv and Tylenol with codeine liquid I was never on the push button thingy in the hospital I needed to ask from the pain meds and got sent home with Tylenol with codeine , it's decent it gets the pain controllable but not enough to not be able to wheen off of it
