you have to go with Dr. Brinkley. She is the best. Be sure to ask about her "ASS" she has a stray donkey living with her on her farm. She is a real treasure. I can't say enough about her. I commute over 1 hour to get fills. Good Luck. Buffy

I am two weeks post op and am very hungry. We are on vacation at the beach and I have four kids to still cook for plus hubby. I am now eating solid food really chewed up. Is this o.k.? I feel that I am cheating and will not lose weight. I haven't been on a scale in five days so I do'tknow is I have lost or not. Should I stop eating normal food chewed really well. I am only two weeks post op. I shouldn't be filled for 4 more weeks. What do I do. I feel fine, except that I am cheating myself. Help. Is this normal to eat so much mushie food? Thanks, Buffy

This was one of the best decisions that I have ever made. Rumbaut and his staff are the absolute best!!!!!!!!! I don't think that I ever once for a moment questioned my decision. Rumbaut is the best.==Hands down.

I Am Just Returning To The Hotle From The Hopsital. I Am Officially Banded. Yeh. The Experience Was Positive. No Real Problems, Except Pain Management. I Coundn`t sleep Last Night After The Operation. I Will Fly Back Tomorrow To Washington,d.c. I´ll Keep In Touch Then.

I am having my surgery done on Thursday in Monterey, Mexico. Can I use Vicodan after surgery or do I need to use the pain killer that the Dr. perscribes?

Can you put neosporin on the stitches and then cover them with a waterproof bandage?

Can you put neosporin on the incisions and keep tham covered until they heal?

I feel so much more comfortable knowing that there are happy patients out there. I am most concerned about the pain killers! I have Vicodin do you think that I can use that right away?

Hello There, Has anyone had any experience with Dr. Rumbout in Monterey, Mexico? I feel pretty good about my decision to have the surgery on Thrusday, August 11th. Any input will help.

Hello There, I will be a bandster on thrusday - God willing. I am going to Monterey Mexico with Dr. Rumbaut. I am especially anxious about the post op pain. What are you given for pain? I have Vicadan from a shoulder injury last month. Will that kill any of the pain? Will anyone in Mexico give us good painkillers for the pain? Newbe here, my first day on the forum.
