  1. I just got back from the doctors office. I finally got hold of someone, and told them that I havent been able to keep anything down and they told me to come in immediately. He just took out all of my fluids from my band and I feel so much better... I now have to wait 6 weeks for a fill but oh well I can now swallow a sip of Water and take my pain medicine. Thanks for the advise guys!
  2. No I took some nausea medicine while in the hospital yesterday, but no I dont have any at home. I just cant keep anything down! I hope once my stomach stops swelling I can drink something!
  3. I was just banded yesterday, but I cannot keep any liquids or anything down... I just throw it right back up.. I think its the gas pushing it back up but I was wondering if anyone else had any problems the next days after swallowing any water, crystal light, jello, or the liquid pain medication?
  4. So I was banded today and I am hurting so bad!! I got gas in my upper chest area where it feels like I am having a heart attack. My doctor never came and checked on me, so I am not sure what am I supposed to do. I walk around... luckily my stomach is not hurting that bad its just that compression in my chest... Anyone else have this or have any tips??? Thanks Ashley
  5. Hi guys!! I am sooo excited, I am having my surgery this Friday ( the 16th). I just started teaching first grade last week, and I am only allowed that Friday day of surgery off. Do you guys think that by Monday I should be able to go back to work? I feel that I will, anyways, I am beyond excited, and am also wondering how should I expect to feel after surgery? All the tips and advise is greatly appreciated!
