  1. I'm heading in for my sleeve on Monday the 17th, 1 week from tomorrow!. I'm so excited. Nervous at the same time. Does anyone have any questions they'd WISHED they'd asked their surgeon before the surgery? I kind of froze on my consultation and didn't ask everything I'd planned to ask. I plan to ask some more questions when I go in for pre-op on Thursday.
  2. Thanks for sharing! Very encouraging story!
  3. I'm going in for my consult next week and hope for surgery before Thanksgiving (self pay so no insurance hoops) and leaning towards not telling anyone except for my husband. And when I do tell him I'm going for it, I'm going to keep it low key and not make it a "thing". My reason for doing this is I don't want this to define me. I want everyone to just see me when I'm 70 lbs lighter (my goal weight), not as the girl who got sleeved.
