  1. Yeahh I can call them. This morning has been much better at keeping my liquids down, fat free milk has been the easiest to actually get down though. I'm going to try a protein shake in a little bit because I'm going to need the protein. Plain water doesn't really make me sick, but it doesn't fill me up, makes be feel hungry if anything lol
  2. No they never said anything about an anti acid. How would that help though?
  3. Ahhh I'm so sorry! Tolerating liquids was much easier in the hospital for me. Once I got home, the pain made it hard for me to keep them down all last night. This morning hasn't been too bad but I need to up my liquids soon so I don't get dehydrated. I probably would have felt more comfortable with one more night stay in the hospital but I'm hoping to be able to do it on my own
  4. I'm only 2 days post op and at the hospital I kept hiccupping which they said was normal. I had no gas pains however whenever I felt a little nauseous I had to burp, which was the only gas I could get through. When I started on my liquids n the hospital, it was pretty easy to keep it down, I think the only time I threw up a little Water was having a little hiccup/burp attack in the hospital. When it came time to go home around 5-6, my norco wore off and the ride home was unbearable pain with all the bumps in the road and we live about an hour away. I threw up a little water 2 more times on the way home and tried to fall asleep when I got home. I took a norco around 7-8 and finally woke up around 10pm to drink some more water. Fell back asleep and woke up in a little pain and had to use the restroom every few hours. I think last night while walking up I maybe threw up a little water maybe 2-3 times and once this morning around 8:30 I took another norco this morning at about 9am and don't have much pain except a little soreness in the main incision. Has anyone had this problem before?
  5. Los alamitos isn't too far away from where I am, I'm in La Habra. February is going to come quickly! Congrats on getting started on the process! I just had my surgery on the 18th this month
  6. The drive home was the absolute worst!! So much pain from all the bumps, we live an hour away from the hospital lol just laid down on my couch and feeling much better though thankfully
  7. Had my surgery at about 2pm yesterday, getting discharged today in the next few hours! Yaaayyy I can't wait to go home and sit on my comfy couch finally!! Minimal pain, thankfully going home with narco in case it gets worse. Feeling tired more than anything, can't wait to fall asleep at home hahaha
  8. I had my surgery yesterday around 1:30-1:40 and was out of surgery at about 2:10! Lol same with my doctor, only IV fluids for the first day. Its now 6am and I'm dying for a sip of water or ice chips as well!! Only my left incision where the stomach was taken out hurts when I get up and walk. Other than that, everything else went great! Congrats on no complications for you!!
  9. Thank you all!!! Surgery went very well! I was done in like 35 minutes! Lol Not much pain at all, just the small incision where they pulled out my stomach Can't complain though ????
  10. Awww thank you all!! It means so much! I'm a little upset though because my arrival time was 8am, now nearing 10 and the guy at the front desk was wondering why I was still waiting and so he went to check on my patient status and comes back to tell me that my surgery isn't even scheduled until 1pm. I'm starving, haven't been able to drink anything since like 10 last night and just want it over with! Uhgg so annoying ????
  11. Finally at the hospital, waiting to be checked in!!! I still can't believe its happening, feels like a dream! Getting a little nervous again, hopefully I'll calm down soon!! The anticipation is killing me!! Ahhhhhhh! More excited now!!

  20. Yeah the little packages they gave me says milk of magnesia and it's two little "shot" like containers lol. So since its that, will I be able to go out? All I really need is to have my piercing changed out which should not take long at all. Hmmm good point! I'll be packing up everything tomorrow and I'll be sure not to over pack! Lol Thanks for the tips ????
  21. Good to know! Thank you both, looks like I'll be dying it tomorrow morning! ????
  22. Good luck to everyone! I'm on the 18th as well!! Suuuuuper excited and nervous but definitely ready for my sleeve!
  23. Mine is going to be the 18th too! ????
  24. So I've heard it both ways. Some people say its not good to dye your hair before surgery and I've heard that some people dyed their hair the day before surgery. I asked my best friend who is a nurse and said that she has never heard of why it would be harmful if I do dye my hair. She says to go for it, why not. Did anyone dye their hair before surgery? I have surgery on Tuesday and wanted to dye my hair tonight or maybe tomorrow if its safe to do it.
  25. Lol you're lucky! Everyone keeps saying its gross
