I found an online Facebook group through this site that has been amazing! I also saw that there is a group at Raritan Bay Old Bridge on the 3rd Thurs of each month, but have not gone yet.

@@Penny C. - I'm doing great! Almost a month out and am down 20lbs. I think the biggest difference is how I feel...I feel lighter...easier to walk and move. I'm so glad i did it! Let me know if you need anything or have questions. I'd gladly help and would love someone here in Monroe!

I personally find the discrimination getting worse in the US. I have been stared at (even by family), laughed at, And even verbally attacked on social media. That is one thing I can't wait for to change!

I am so glad I found this post! I also have Fibro and was wondering how others did after VSG. I too, am expecting a full on flare after surgery. To be honest, I couldn't imagine NOT having a flare. Would love to have fellow fibromite buddies to bounce experiences off of. I am a week away from my date of December 3rd and am sure I'll have tons of questions.

December 3rd here in NJ...getting so close! I have my endoscopy tomorrow, but done after that. Excited and nervous!
