Ruth - How are you doing post-surgery? Getting in all of your liquids?

How are all of you doing? It's crazy to think that it has been a month! I had my one month follow up with the surgeon on Monday and even though I knew my weights it made it real when he told me that my weightloss has been 50 pounds since I first saw him two weeks pre-surgery! Things have been going great, I am finally back to work!

Immanuel is a amazing facility to have the procedure done at! I very very happy with the care I got there.

It's been a good day, trying to get pain down to a level where I can try and walk around.

This morning I have checked in for my Roux En Y procedure! This a journey that I started back in May! I'm ready for this step.

I'm having mine at Immanuel on November 25th. I'm having mine with Dr. Hovey. What about you?

Just saw my surgeon today, it's scheduled for the 25th.

I work in the clinic where I doctor, and initially the only people who knew were the ones working the day I came in to the doctor for a referral. As time has gone on, I have told the people that I am closest with, which included the rest of my coworkers.. They have all been supportive. I am currently waiting on approval from my insuarance company.

I'm pre-op and am looking to connect with someone who has already started on the journey.

I live just to the east of there, I am planning on having mine done at Immanuel as well.
