  3. Had surgery on the 27th and have been in and out of sleep lol. Trying to get in liquids but it is difficult when you get full. My throat is sooo sore. Swollen, and red probably from a difficult intubation. Can't wait to be past this healing phase

  6. Mine is tomorrow ???????????? little nervous but ready to get the show on the road! I've read a lot of success stories and also a lot of "horror" stories but the benefits outweigh the risks. I just hope that since I'm so young (24) I don't have any complications later on since I'll be living with this decision for hopefully another 50 years or so. Anybody have information about long term studies on bariatric patients? Not sure how long the surgery has been around (in general). Best luck to all of you! ????

  9. I was told that for a week after surgery it was all liquid diet, then 3 wks puréed food, then 4 weeks of mechanical soft foods and 4 weeks of soft foods. I think it's probably too much too soon.
  10. @@Jyoyonomore Thank you so much for the tip and questions to ask :-) I will definitely mention all this!
