  1. I was told I would need for at least 6 months. I never had acid reflux before surgery, but now it's really bad. I'm sure I will need to continue it for a long time.
  2. I'm 5 months post op and my sleeve hates most solid foods. Thank goodness I love soup. I miss eggs. I can eat about 2 tsp and I'm done. Sometimes 1 Breakfast sausage link. This journey is tough, but well worth it.
  3. I struggled my first two weeks. Everything made me sick. I still can't drink regular Water. chicken broth and hot tea w/ lemon were the only things I could tolerate for almost a month. Good luck.
  4. I haven't smoked a cigarette since September 30th. I have cravings daily, but I don't want to be denied surgery or have any complications because I can't stop smoking. It's hard, but its important, so I just push myself everyday. I hope that I never smoke again.
  5. I am just about finished my clearances and an looking at a date in late December. I recently started seeing a PCP for the first time in almost ten years. I am worried about submitting my last two years of weight. I visit my Gyn every six months, so I may be able to get something from her, but the report my PCP had is missing a lot. If my bmi was below 40 in the last two years, will that cause me to be denied despite having numerous records showing up I have been morbidly obese for most of my life?
  6. I'm pre-op. I am seeing Dr. Kirkland @ Pennsylvania Hospital. He is awesome and has great references.
  7. My pre-op diet is pretty much a 1,000 calorie diet w/ increased Protein. Yay!
