Easy peasy lemon queasy:) Very happy for you! I had my physical therapy appt. yesterday and I attended a support group last night. Met some wonderful people! I'm done until Dec 16th. Like I said, its then I'll see my nut then I'll wait and pray for approval:)

I have never smoked but was told I will get a nicotine test so I would really try to quit in case you have to take one. You don't want your insurance denying you for not stopping.

I'm January. Just don't know the exact date yet.

I am actually on my way to my physical therapist as we speak(hubby is driving) lol I have seen my Psych, did a procedure class, Dec 16th I see my Nut then last visit with surgeon. I have to wait until everything is turned in for approval..but everything has went smoothly. Doc says surgery will be in January..upon approval of course but I am claiming it!! Nice to talk with someone at the stage I am:)

I bought some Nature Valley Protein Crunchy Dark Chocolate Granola yesterday. I love it! It would be so easy to eat the whole bag all at once but of course DO NOT lol. Only ½ a cup per serving. It does have 32g of carbs but has 10g of Protein. For someone who has a sweet tooth like I do, I know it's better than a Hershey bar for you if you get a craving!

I guess we all have someone in our family that can be negative or ignorant to our feelings but like y'all say, maybe they just don't really understand that it hurts the way it does. I guess someone who does not have a weight issue just doesn't understand how something they say could hurt so much. I have been overweight all my life. I watch carefully of how I speak of and to others. Thank you all for your comments. The support here feels amazing!

You're right JaGo. I really don't need to rub in her face although I feel it would feel good sometimes but I will just be healthier and happier and it will show. I HAVE made the decision that I will at some point talk to her about it. Thanks hun..have a blessed day:)

I am so tired of being the fat one! I have a family member who I love dearly but she hurts my feelings so bad when she says, yeah he/she would make 2 of you. Even though the remark isn't directed at ME , why do I have to be the one you are comparing anybody to. And it's rude as hell to be judging anybody anyways. She doesn't know their back story. And I just love this one....I recently said yeah I lost 5lbs in the last few weeks and she says really, I can't tell. Really? Wth? She is about 5'6 and about 150-160lbs. I am doing this for me and my health but if I get smaller than her...it's going to feel good putting her in her place. The rudeness of some people just piss me off. No wonder so many people suffer depression when they are overweight. It's people just like that!

I take norco 7.5 bc I have 2 bulged disc and a pinched nerve and a few other issues. I have read it is crushable so that I can still take the pill form after surgery. Does anybody know if it is? I really don't want to have to take it as a liquid. But will if I have to but I figured some of my bariatric friends might would know. Thanks in advance.

I decided on Lapband instead of the sleeve. My doctor said being I have bad acid reflux that getting sleeve would make it much worse but the band may keep me from having it at all. And also its reversible if there is any problems and less down time. And with all approvals, my surgery will be in January.

I am worried about that too. I am 5'3 and weigh 280. I am 33 so praying everything still has one elasticity. Bc this Mama sure can't afford any skin removal surgeries. But I have lymphedema in both legs and feet so I HAVE to get this weight off of me.

I can't see living anywhere else. I love it! Just hate the beach bc of this body. Haven't wore a bathing suit since i was 18. But hopefully that will change.
