  1. Ran across this on Bloomberg: http://www.bloomberg.com/visual-data/best-and-worst//most-efficient-health-care-2014-countries Mexico is number 12 and the US is 44. Hmmm.
  2. I think I'm going to do the same thing, save some extra through December and see if I can cover at least half of the trip without touching my savings. I'll get the tickets with my credit card, and will get the remaining 2k from savings
  3. @@shizwiz keep us posted, I want to finance the surgery if I can and not dip into my savings, was going to try lendingclub first then efinancing solutions
  4. Hi, anyone of you guys self paying? I'd love to know the out of pocket cost for the greater Philadelphia area.
  5. I'd say add some strength training to your routine as well.
  6. Best wishes and have a safe trip
  7. From what I've read it seems the preop diet also helps with reducing gas pain, not sure about the accuracy, just a few sleevers opinions.
  8. Woohoo, you're doing great, I can't wait to confirm everything. Currently doing some major saving, I dont want to go through a financing company If I don't have to. Also working on my getting my travel documents, in the USA on a student visa.
  9. I'm a bit scared about the pre-op diet as well, I'm not the best at dieting hence my current situation. But if you follow all the guidelines you should be fine.
  10. Me too, I just finished all 122 pages, phew. I have to say, you all have made my decision a lot easier, I was considering Dr. Alvarez, Dr. Rodriguez, Dr. Kelly and Dr. A. Ortiz. The one thing I was looking for was after care, and from all I've seen OCC seems to be the best. I'm hoping to have the sleeve surgery just before the Christmas holidays, so I have some time to rest before work. I have to sort out my visa and some other things, also saving up and looking into financing options now.
