  1. Well that's a choice. I wouldn't eat like that. I have no hunger and when I do eat is not much so I physically couldn't do that BUT even if I could I simply wouldn't, And you won't either if you want to be successful. Now, are they only eating a few bites? I have no food issues so if I wanted to I could eat a few bites of junk too. Maybe they are just making Crappy food choices but can't eat much?
  2. If they come back up tomorrow after I drink them I will know it's that creepy hand pushing them back out.
  3. @@Pac-woman Thanks! I sing that dang song ever time I say chia! I also invasion The chia zombie hand which doesn't help the cause!
  4. I think most of us are not complete morons and as grown adults will chose to do as we please. I also believe that we are each smart enough to make our own decisions in what we want to do as far as nutrition. Asking a question and getting multiple different responses isn't Going to prompt someone to not adhere by their unique plan unless again that's what they chose to do as a grown adult . Nutritionist are not the "gods" of bariatric surgery either. Nutrition changes all the time. Science changes the way we eat. Yes your NUTS job is to give you guidelines on what you should be eating but it's not the holy grail. Your NUT is going by a general consensus of what they feel a wls patient should be eating. Seeing as how all individual bodies have there own chemical make up it is literally impossible for ANYONE to tell you exactly what YOU have to eat to lose x amount of weight. WSL doesn't come with an automatic weight loss guarantee. So I myself (being over 3x7) will take the advice from my NUT but will also incorporate What I feel is working for me. Just like any other human with a functioning brain. I have yet to read any post where someone is telling another person to "not listen to their healthcare team and follow what they say" nope not even once. People will share their experiences and give options on what works for them. You either learning something, Try something new, or you chose to read and move on. It's really that simple.
  5. Omg!!! I boiled them and they turned out soft!!!! I'm so stupid excited about it!!! I have them chilling in the fridge for tomorrow. I think I will add it with my chocolate and PB protein shake! This is fantastic!
  6. Pho is my favorite soup ever!!! @@BLERDgirl
  7. One of my friends on My FB said I can boil them and they get soft...I wonder if that will kill the nutrients though?
  8. @@BLERDgirl Is that like the bubble drinks? I drank them when I did my contract in Hawaii. Tapioca beads soaked in sugar and put in a drink?
  9. @@MeAndTinyTina Yay! It's nice to have a well behaved sleeve isn't it! I drink The smooth move tea and have yet to have any constipation issues. I haven't had any milk since surgery..11 weeks. Maybe I should try the milk.
  10. Yay! Congrats! Prayer sent!

  14. Sons of Anarchy! I know I'm probably one of the last people to watch..I'm a bit obsessed. One of my besties made a lovely picture of me and Jax! Cracks me up! Sorry if you all missed us on people magazine
  15. I concur! I can handle different opinions what I can't handle is fake kiss a** people and hypocrites. Ex: a person who make Bold statements, causes drama, and then all the sudden agrees with everyone ...and that's all I'm gonna say about that! @@LipstickLady I like the way you think!
  16. @@majorsmama I will try it again. I watched a girl soak hers in almond milk so I think I may try that next.
  17. @@MisforMimi Thank you that's what I was wondering. I let them soak aver night in my shake and they didn't get soft so I figured they either don't or I need to use warm water or something?
  18. @@BLERDgirl I thought about grinding it up I just didn't know if it would ruin it or not.
  19. @@Nikkidoodlebug It sounds like you have a game Full of a bunch of as*holes! My mom is very overweight and she calls bingo. I can't even Imagine someone talking that way to my mother! That's one bingo dauber that would have to be surgically removed from someone's anal regions if they ever did! I wish someone would! People are just plain rude! Props to you for not catching a case!
  20. @@wannaBthinsoon It's true! I can't get the image out of my head when I try to drink them. I'm going to have to YouTube it.
  21. They did swell but weren't completely soft, I may just have to trash them.
  22. Hello! I bought some chia seeds this week (for nutritional purposes) and after researching them a little more I began to wonder if it was even ok for us to have seeing as how they swell in the stomach? Does anyone eat these? If so how do you prepare them? I added to tablespoons to my shake and let it sit overnight...disgusting! I had to dump it. Do they ever get completely soft? I wanted to drink them after adding them but the texture reminds me of drinking something like fleas....I can't handle that! Any suggestions would be great! Thank you in advance! I hope everyone is doing beautifully!
