  1. Thank you so much, everyone, for your encouragement!! I was afraid I was doing something wrong. Actually after I wrote this morning, I weighed myself and have dropped one pound so maybe the plateau is over for now and I'll continue on down. I keep having to remind myself to be patient with myself!!
  2. I had my surgery November 12th and so far have lost 28 pounds. I seem to have reached an impasse and the scales have been stuck for almost 2 weeks. I'm still on soft foods - is there something I'm doing wrong or is this to be expected? How long does it usually last? Is there anything we are suppose to do to budge it off this plateau? I have not been released to exercise yet.
  3. I had my sleeve done Nov 12th. I am sipping slow and I am getting a fair bit of water in. More water than protein/broth/jello/etc. The problem I seem to be having is swelling in my legs and ankles - almost like water retention? I did come home from surgery already coming off insulin!! And because of a few issues the discharge said not to take BP meds until I see my primary care physician (which I see today). My BP has been elevated - would this account for the swelling? ALSO, how long does one wear this belly band? Could that be acting like a rubber band in my middle causing water retention, or should I be concerned about this issue?
