  5. I have BCBS of Massachusetts and didn't have a problem at all getting approved. I started the process on September 11th and my surgery was done on December 2nd. BCBS does not required a waiting period but you do have to show you have tried to lose weight. My surgeon required a lot of test to be done and I mean a lot of test.

  7. I feel you I'm 3 weeks post op today and I can count on one hand how many times I've had a BM... A few people have suggested drinking smooth move and mirlax I think that's it. I can't tell I go regularly ugh
  8. My advice keep it to yourself. The only people you need to tell at your work place is HR and your boss. simple I'm having surgery. There are rules employers has to abide by and the shouldn't ask what kind of surgery.
  9. @@wildGoose I know your feeling. I was sleeved on 12/2 and I haven't a BM as well. I have tried Colace, Prune juice and Fleet. I'm going to try the mineral oil next.
  10. I was taking Phentermine along with Topamax lost weight but the Topamax gave me a headache.
  11. You are so right water water water something I've always had a hard time drinking. Im going to challenge myself today to try to get down 32 oz of water. I know I suppose to drink more.
  12. Also, ask them for the medical codes they will charge your insurance. You want to make sure everything is covered.
  13. Be careful eating steak I heard a pieces was stuck in a patient chest. Not sure how long they waited before they tried to eat it

  15. I still have not had a BM ???????????? My Dr said its normal, but I don't think so. Has anyone experienced this? Please advise!!!!
  16. @@robinsales have you had a bowl moment? I also had my surgery 12/2 and still haven't went yet. My nurse suggested I get some Benefiber. So frustrated right now.

  19. GM-I'm not feeling too good its feels like my food is stuck in my chest. I didn't get any sleep last night and I didn't eat anything that was not liquidy other then some egg drop soup with the little chips that goes in it but I let them dissolve in the soup. What can I take?
