  1. Yessss in case you didn't know i am 16. . I just had a question maybe some of you can answer. Will today is 10-4-14 my goal weight is 120 and my surgery is gonna be in late November or early December my birthdate is 4-26-15 yup 6months from now. The reason i want to know is because i didn't have a sweet 16 because im ofcourse uncomfortable with my weight and didn't want to feel embarrassed at mt own party. Ooooh yeaa I'm getting the sleeve!!!! Ok i at first i was a little embarrassed to mention my weight but hey we're all here for basically the same thing right so ya its 360 ya very depressing
  2. @@AvaFern @@IcanMakeit @ButterSweet* i feel like it's the clothes i should worry about. My doctor told me that if i go based on clothes and not weight it will be way easier not to get discouraged.
  3. @@AvaFern ok i edited it. Sorry about that
  4. Hi this is my first post. Im 16 and I'm preparing for gastric sleeve in late November or early December. Yes i know that i am young but if you've went threw what i went threw you'd understand and I'm sure most of you do. I just had a couple of questions. So my surgeon was explaining to me that a lot of weight loss surgery patients end up having to have plastic surgery to take care of the flabby skin do to the quick weight loss or something like that. He said that i shouldn't even worry about flabby skin because the younger you are the less flabby skin you'll have and i shouldn't have any at all. Is their anyone out there who didn't get the flabby skin problem? Anyone around my age? And to help the skin problem ive been exercising here and there just to tone up so that after surgery i can already be in the habit of working out and toneing my body. Any advice on that?

    I'm Only 16

It's soooooo crazy how things work. I'm 16 too and I am hopefully having my surgery in late November or early December. Three months ago is when I couldn't take it no more I was soo freaking tired of being the only anti social, kid in my family. I was over the top with feeling this way everyday, waking up in the morning feeling unconfident, ugly, fat just hating myself all the way around. Every kid in my family is athletic except for me I'm the only one. I know the feeling of not wanting to go anywhere, not wanting to go shopping because I I'm afraid I'm not going to be able to fit anything. for the past three months I've been looking for someone my age that has had the same problem or is having the same problem. While reading your story I felt as if I had typed it myself. I'm so happy to have read your post because it assures me that I'm not the only one. You should email me. booboojigga@yahoo.com :)
