  1. It's still going and it feels like esophageal spasms. I feel like I have a burning hole in my esophagus and it keeps cramping. Worried. My surgeon is in another town but I'll call him today for sure.
  2. My family and I went for a 2.5 mile "hike". At the end they were all tired and saying how that was a lot of exercise and they deserved and needed a big dinner. They were saying how far we had all walked. I was like, um... What walk? That was a leisurely stroll for me. I could have easily run that distance and barely been tired. I wasn't out of breath once! That was a tiny little bit of walking to me!!! Hahahaha. Gosh amazing. I would barley have been able to do that without crying a little over a year ago. My legs would have been shaking.
  3. Really beautiful both before and after! Smokin hot!!
  4. Mine was totally dead set against it. He said he would leave me if I did it. Guess what I did? I left him. In addition he was highly abusive to me about my weight. Now I'm skinny, and he pines for me. Too bad.
  5. My goodness @valentina. What a thing to go through. My heart huts for you but I am so impressed by your strength. You're right, it was not your fault. Suicide can only be the voice of the person who takes that route. You deserve a full, happy and healthy life.
  6. You look really great!!!
  7. It took me quite some time to be able to eat sushi, but I can now as long as I'm careful. I eat sashimi mainly. Cucumber salad, sashimi, and maybe 1-2 pieces of a roll. Be careful with the rice. I find I do best with brown rice. I don't do the miso because it's a liquid. Enjoy! Sushi is great for you.
  8. The BMI chart has been largely thrown out by medical professionals. The fact is you did this to feel and look good and be healthier. If you feel good, if your blood work comes back great... I'd say it's up to you what you should weight. I have a friend with a large frame. At 5'8 at 150 you could count her ribs. She settled at 175 and looks beautiful. I bet you look great too and I very much doubt you look like a Russian beat farmer!!
  9. Anne you are welcome to pm me. I am struggling with this as well. Some people on here have been extremely rude to me, even saying that I'm obsessed with myself and flaunting my weight loss- so I can definitely identify with the lack of support on a forum where many people are still struggling to lose weight and or keep it off. There are also a lot of kind and supportive people on here so that's why I keep coming back. I've noticed a lot more posts lately from people struggling with too much weight loss and I'm pretty sure it's a common problem. I think people on here are afraid to talk about it for fear of skinny shaming or lack of understanding. Many people on here still in the process just can't wrap their heads around being TOO thin. Well they may be in for a surprise. Maintaining weight after surgery is a huge struggle for me. Pm me all you want.
  10. Wow. You look like a different person and so handsome!!! Amazing
  11. So much better. I completely agree. I enjoy my ME time and time with my kids!!! It's so fun to just be with yourself sometimes. )
  12. Ummmm. I'm sorry you're feeling this way but if all you can eat is chocolate it's doubtful you have dumping!!! Dumping is usually due to fat and sugar combinations. It doesn't cause pain. You seem to be eating a lot of carbs. Cream of wheat is all carb. If you're gaining weight I'd look to that. Stay away from chocolate for sure. Hope you figure it out and feel better soon.
  13. Jess you look so great. We had similar bodies before and now after as well. You look wonderful and I love the professional photos- how fun to do that!!!
  14. You are so gorgeous!! You looked great before and wonderful now too!! I love how your face structure shows now. Thank you for sharing!!! You're gorgeous!!
  15. I'm assuming your life is completely different now. Different stresses and demands, time, responsibilities and temptations. Different mindset. You have to work with what's going on now. Only you know the reasons why you're overeating. And some of those reasons not even you know. Our body is geared to maintain weight, not lose it. If you have soul searched and feel surgery is best for you than go for it. Put the past in the past.
  16. Looking wonderful! Love the color of that dress
  17. Only 22 lbs????! That's a lot to lose!!!!! You're doing awesome!!!!!
  18. Totally. That was a rebound relationship for sure and a hard learning experience. I was with my kids dad for 7 years and I never even looked at another guy. He was bad to me but I truly loved him. I tried so hard to make it work with him. It was a really tough decision to leave but I had no choice. After that I was alone 6 months. When I started dating again it felt sooooo good to be able to love someone again and be loved... But I was SO on the rebound. I wasn't looking out for red flags and I fell in love super easily with that guy the alcoholic. He was really funny, for one, which is a weakness of mine. I was vulnerable and high on the feeling of affection. Anyway that was a rough relationship too and now that I'm past it, I'm in a much better place. I'm looking for someone who is really worth it on multiple levels. My priorities are my kids and my career. If I'm going to invest time in someone they have to be the right fit and be able to contribute to my life, not take away. Dating is fun but I do want a boyfriend. I prefer to be intimate and close to someone. I want to be with someone who knows about my food issues and is supportive. But I'm not even going to settle this time. I'm happy to walk away from red flags. So yeah. I've learned something this year!! The right one will come along. )
  19. Sigh he wasn't for me. I don't know when I got so picky.
  20. Okay okay you people are making me blush now! Please post pictures of your awesome selves!! I know some of you are at goal and I want to see your beautiful faces!
  21. My legs were really big but they did tighten up fairly well. It's my stomach and butt that are in need of repair you never know.. Just wait and see!!
  22. I had to say no to the recently single guy. Too many red flags and too much drama. I'm going on a date tonight with someone I've been texting for some time and I'm pretty nervous and excited about it. I really hope I like him because it seems promising. I decided I don't like being single any more. It's too stressful. Going out on dates is just so stressful because of all my food issues. The only times I really enjoy myself are dates where there is no food involved. And guys always want to eat. I'm also tired of meeting new people all the time. I don't want to meet anyone new for a bit. But I don't want to hang out by myself half of every week either. I just want a boyfriend boo hoooo. Or more girlfriends. I joined a meet up group to hopefully make some new friends. Anyway. Maybe tonight I'll meet the love of my decade!!
  23. I can do carbonation no problem in fact I enjoy it. But I drink wine most often Try a beer and see how you do!
  24. Hahahahah. Do it. (The pee part not the pizza part )
