  1. Really the best thing I did was put the scale away. I was told that the scale is not my friend. ...concentrate on following the rules and how you feel and take joy from being able to walk better and lean down to pick up things . You will see yourself getting smaller without the scale no putting pressure on you.
  2. I was having the same problem even though I chewed my food well then I heard someone say they timed 2 min between bites. Now I don't have the pain if I stick to doing it. Just set your timer on your phone then i restart just before the alarm goes off. Good luck.

  4. I just had my 1 month check up. Dr said I should be between 400 to 500 calaries. She said about 1 to 2 oz a meal is good. Lost 28 pounds so far. Cannot have veg or fruit yet.
  5. I just went from mushy food to shrimp, chicken and various proteins but no veggies. I am battling eating the meats and trying to eat slow.
  6. You will not be wanting food as much simply because you won't be hungry. Something I could not imagine till the surgery. Second it's difficult to eat the smallest portion of food so you won't want food all the time. ..which means less cooking and more time to walk and go to the gym.
  7. Any food or recipe ideas. I am 4 week post op. Thanks
  8.    Algae reacted to a post in a topic: Sleeve Vs Bypass... How did you decide?
  9. When I was trying to decide between the sleeve and bypass my surgeon said the sleeve will cause more acid. So if you already have acid reflux go with the bypass. That made my decision easy so I got the bypass.
  10. Yes it will but in the meantime use rogain and take biotin.
  11. I am 10 day post surgery. Any local people who want to connect?
