1. Wanting to hook up with anyone that has been banded and is living in the San Diego area. There are only two doctors in this area that will do a fill for anyone banded in Mexico and was wondering if anyone local has used either one. :help:
2.
Congrats to you on your new journey. I was banded on November 8th along with 4 other ladies. We all were in Monterrey, Mexico together and did not know each other. I was the first to go in and never had a worry. I have a high pain tollerance and did not feel any pain or discomfort. The other ladies that had the surgery with me all had different levels of discomfort but I do not think it was anything serious. We were all up and around the day of our surgery. Our surgery was on a Thursday and we all flew home to different parts of the US on Sunday. I returned back to work on Monday. I never have had any pain. I consider myself lucky. When we all left on Sunday they still had some discomfort but in hearing from them now (three weeks later) they are all doing well. Stay positive and you will do well. It is wonderful.
Ruth
3. Congradulations, prayer to you for a healthy recovery. I look forward to your reports as the days go on. I will be banded on November 8th.
4. Hi to all. I will be heading to the airport next Tuesday 11/6/07 and being banded on 11/8/07. :whoo: I will be back on Sunday and let you all know how it went. I am very excited and looking forward to my trip. I am going to Monterrey, Mexico for my surgery with Dr. Rumbaut.
